Wont be till morning vrak and orlyia have gone home for the nite.
Yo blue, the game is busted when will you all have it fixed. Just about any looting in an instance bugs as of today 01/20/25 and required an unstuck log out and what not.

Babig-Thaurissan here. Iām experiencing āstuckā character issue, in the sense that he is not able to loot, to cast spells, to logout or exit game normally, etc. Happened twice this morning! The only common thing was both times I was doing a world quest.
When I force quit the game, I couldnt login back to the same character. It says ācharacter with same name exists.ā Had to wait about 30 min till I can relog back.

Also, in case it helps, but once one of your characters is locked, your warbank gets locked. Whatever you changed here was seriously broken.
Orlyia finds out about the same time we do and she wont know till morning when she gets in or vrak.
Ralthor-Aggramar stuck with the name exists situation. Was in dornagal in war mode. Attacking a chest. Looted it. then when trying leave was still being attacked from miles away. kept runningā¦ no spells or actions would work. kept running. tried a reload, tried logging, nothing worked. hit ALt-F4 to kill as nothing else worked. then went to login and got ācharacter with that nameā¦ā . Rebooted computer, same error. waited for 3 hours, logged into another character, the original still logged in. tried logging into the stuck character, still got same error. Nothing works. this is my main raider. Im the RL and the GM. I donāt have infinite time on this game and now my schedule is tanked for the week, especially if i cant get back in. Looks like many others having same issue. Seems related to looting in War Within content. Afraid to try another toon in the current content

Unable to do any time walking dungeons and loot any boss mobs killed. It does not allow me to loot. Then it will also disconnect me and leave me logged in to the dungeon. Also it will not allow me to successfully join an instance as well, saying the the time walking dungeon is full when it is not.
Was DCāed at end of M+ Dungeon, after using Cannon in Siege of Boralus. Couldnāt open chest, had to wait 15 mins to get back on. Didnāt have mail with loot, crests, or gold.
Would like to know why this is happening such that the dev team can address and prevent this sort of thing. Seems like a lot of āclient can try this and hopeā.

Just adding my voice to the chorus and saying I canāt do anything but Plunderstorm right now, everywhere else my abilities become unusable and I canāt loot. Been on and off like this all day. I figured it was a DDOS attack but maybe not.
Given the nature of technology, this Iām afraid bears an almost-zero percent chance of ever happening in our lifetime. Wear and tear is just a natural part of our world.
Parts can be replaced and upgraded over time ad infinitum, but there will always be that fickle anomaly that pops up out of nowhere, whenever it desires.

This happened to me and I was just out doing world quests. What is up with this bug? I canāt get back in and now my character is dead. Thanks for taking my repair cost from the gold I just made.

All same as above but I left the party and waited for about 3 or 5 minutes I then got kicked offline and returned to character selection interface, log in the character, everything was fine. Donāt Alt+F4 when you canāt log out or exit, this will lock the character for 30 minutes, just wait several minutes to let the server kick you.
This fine gentleman has conducted a list and updated it with all the known issues happening within WoW right now if anyone is interested.
My character has desynced from the server 3 times today.

Fixed? back in game after several hours
Looks like maintenance tomorrow now folks if you check your launchers! Maintenance from 7AM - 8AM PST tomorrow morning! Hopefully this resolves all of the issues from tonight!

Yes, but itās 6pm Wednesday evening in OCE nowā¦ Raidās in 90 mins. Any time my character loots it desyncs. I wait half an hour, log back in, still canāt loot. If raid is cancelled, then the impact is not 12-18 hours, itās half a week.
