I’ll take your word for it. I hear y’all like the orange kind best.
Grape is where it’s at, buddy

Trust level one : serfs
Trust level two : peasants
Trust level thee : aristocracy
Because posting an image or video of what I’m talking about is convenient and is less likely to be ignored (people don’t want to have to copy / paste, they’ll just respond based on text or skip the post).
same
in my case il add a 4th to that, if its something moderately funny enough to make me lol then il give a like too.
Is this 20000 threads viewed or 20000 new threads+replies tho.
If the latter its very easy to maintain. I had trust l3 years ago on a diff toon and lost it when i swapped to my classic warr to post about classic stuff years ago. Im not certain why it doesnt consider account wide for the reqs, always annoyed me.
It’s posts, not threads.
20,000 posts in a 3 month period is over 200 posts a day.
200 isn’t an excessive amount now and again, but it’s an excessive amount to maintain for months on end.
So click on a thread with 6k posts, scroll to the bottom and complete a months worth of posts in a few mins?
Here is 4.9k for you.
Post has to be on the screen for somewhere in the 2-3 seconds range for it to count as read. You can cheese it but it’s not as quick as just scrolling for 3 minutes until you hit the bottom.
That, and is it not a sign of a massive flaw if people are expected to not read – but just mindlessly scroll to reasonably meet the requirement?
… get stuffed. Nobody should be suspended from a public forum unless they posted hardcore pornography, excessive gore, or deliberately linked to malware.
No, all politics should be allowed because the politics of the moderation staff (and indeed, the company) will always tend one way and enforcement will favor their bias.
I understand there being a hurdle to attain TL3, but the reading requirement should not be needed to maintain it.
- TL3 members have proven themselves to be generally well behaved.
- The TL3 lounge is a nice community where people get along well, and don’t cause trouble.
- TL3 members need to demonstrate good behaviour in all forums, and in the game to maintain access to the lounge and other TL3 perks.
That should be all that’s required. Why cut someone off from being part of a productive, well behaved community just because they get busy with work or school for a few months and don’t read as many (20,000 required per 100 days, plus 500 new topics read) posts and topics as normal? Their behaviour is still good. Isn’t that what trust is about?
I could understand if someone unsubbed, or stopped posting for three months, but slowing down a bit shouldn’t be punished.
Here’s another way of looking at trust levels:
Someone who is TL1 or 2 can be flagged for trolling, or get reported for language, and get a 12-24hr silence and be back creating troll topics a day later without really losing anything.
A TL3 member, who has an excellent record of good behaviour slips once and they lose all the little perks of the level, plus lose access to the community lounge for a year while the TL2 troll poster gets a brief silence.
With punishments that much more harsh for the TL3 member, can’t they at least be cut some slack on the reading requirements?
Thank you.
You really should move this to Customer Support. It will get a fairer hearing there.
I agree with you on this. Not great design no.
TL3 lounge was decent chat. I only really miss TL3 because i can no longer link screenshots of things.
Sure is, but like if it was easy to reach that system would be so easy to abuse for less… desirable outcomes.
Like again, I didn’t even know myself I reached TL3, it doesn’t require impossible feats of strenght.
It’s a private forum.
These forums aren’t worth such a grind.
No, it’s a paid access public forum. A private forum would have some sort of invitation criteria before you were even allowed to spend $12.99/mo on it.
Surely the requirement to visit here for 50 of the last 100 days while in good standing more than proves someone isn’t here just to troll, yes?
I’m not arguing that Trust Levels having requirements in general is bad, just that this particular one is set higher than it needs to be. It should exist, because it ensures the 50 of 100 days thing isn’t just done by leaving the tab open and ignoring it for awhile, but there’s no need for 220+ posts a day. Even a very small amount would work, because all it really needs to do is check for actual activity as a safety net for the first criteria.
Obviously there are people who have TL3 despite it being set so high, yourself included. That doesn’t mean the threshold being used is reasonable.
Agree. And despite some L3’s feigned nonchalance they love feeling they’re ‘special.’ As usual, that’s what drives people. Healthy people wouldn’t spend that much time on these forums otherwise.
What on earth are you talking about
Trust me I don’t read 220+ posts a day
