Word salad aside; this is Blizzard’s forums, they make whatever rules they want, and it has nothing to do with free speech.

Sometimes I’m suspicious of posts that seem to have too many hearts, if you know what I mean. I think we all know “those posts” that I’m talking about.
But just a little while ago I was looking through my profile summary, and I could have sworn I gave out orders of magnitude more likes than the number I’m currently at. I also feel like post count seems a bit shy of what I was anticipating it to be, but that’s an investigation for another day.
Out of curiosity, what happens when you’re ‘posts are unexisted’ by Forum Mods? Is there explicitly a notification given? Is there only a notice if there’s some warning/reprimansion attached to an expunged post? Because it feels like I’ve experienced some intermittent stealthy takedowns; that, or Lady Moonberry has been on her 'shroomy shenanigans playing tricks on me again. What a charming delight that Miss Moonberry can be, she knows how to have fun.
So 200 posts then, not 220 (I wasn’t sure if it was 90 or 100 days).
20k / 100 = 200.
Even if it’s not capping out, reading a quarter of all content posted is ridiculous. Especially with how insanely divided it all is on these forums.
Given all the different subforums I suspect we are just capping out.
If there was only 100 posts a day it would only require 25. GD is busy, beta and feedback forums are busy outside fo that not much goes on. You arent really missing alot if you dont go there but you will fall behind if you dont at least read GD everyday and keep browsing beta/ptr. Alot of people wont go read beta for fear of spoilers and the simple fact they cant reply unless they have beta access.
Yeah, but WHO at Blizzard holds the official “Forum Authority”? Holly Longdale? Chris Metzen? Bill Gates? Satya Nadela? Or is Blizzard one of those people who had really cool parents that gave their kid a cool name that’s just 'Blizzard , with TM’d font/color in lieu of a surname/social-security-#?

Would be cool if there was a Quest NPC in the game that offered a quest to get trust level 1 on the forums with a reward of 250 added to post count. Then once you turned it in, you wont see the NPC again until you go 2 months with no forum warnings or bans, then one Sunday, it would appear for quest to get to Trust Level 2.

It’s not worth it being level 3. If you’re viewing the forums THAT much, you should probably just look for a job moderating for Blizz.

The way the trust level functions is beyond ridiculous.

TL3 is simply not worth it. At best I might grind it back up right before a period of heavy activity but there’s little benefit.

Well, I disagree. Politics of any kind, religious, identity and others should be an immediate thread closer.
Severe penalties (really bad stuff) on the forums should apply in game and vice versa.
Everyone gets one forum account like the other Blizz forums.
This place is an echo chamber. Say one wrong thing and you get flagged. People who constantly flag should also be suspended. This is the only gaming forum I frequent that behaves this way. Someone let the people out of the asylum, and they run the show here.

The problem here is if you counter argue any of the politics brought up here you get called many wonderful names and then you get a forum suspension. The best way to alleviate that is to just close and lock any thread that starts off with politics. It’s difficult though because everything is moderated by us and currently the crazies run the show.
