Is the CS Blue post fabricated?

The Blues have only said that sockpuppeting isn’t as common as people thought it was back in the T-squad’s heyday, and that often callouts that someone is another specific person are wrong. People have referred to and quoted Vrak so much on that point to say that there’s no sockpuppeting and that it’s not a problem that happens that he referenced it later, and also went back and edited his original post:

Just to clarify, because I see my quote from when I talked about this subject used here and there. Sockpuppeting does happen, it isn’t very common, but it isn’t extremely rare either.

Just to put it out there. I read general discussion now and then, following specific threads as I can and I often see accusations that X is actually an alt account of Y. Curiosity has often gotten the better of me so I check it out, and can say it is rarely the truth. Perception on the forums can be a little skewed.

Editing this, since it’s been quoted a bit. I didn’t say people do not use alt characters or alt accounts. That does happen, it just doesn’t necessarily happen as often as some seem to think.

I never flag at all, as it is impossible to offend me with text on a forum and I respect everybody’s freedom of speech (don’t quote me stupid stuff about the government, I am obviously not talking about the US constitution, but the general concept to say what you will), but I understand that not everybody is this way. Using the flag feature along with mute is good advice for these people.

Sure its entirely possible. But at the end of the day you have to accept that, whether they’re right or wrong, people are free to dissociate from you for whatever reason.

If someone wants to block me or my account because, somewhere along the way, I said something that didn’t sit right with them, that’s totally deserved and reasonable.

No, I don’t want to have that effect on people, and I suppose I’d feel kinda bummed if that’s what vibe I give off, but ultimately, they should do it if it makes them have a better experience.

That’s why account wide blocks are mandatory. Because it’s not about me.

I do, too, until people start calling people slurs, insulting them and wishing harm upon them. That and especially telling people to game end is something I cannot and will not ignore.

They get flagged real quick with me.
