I know everyone is being negative in GD, so I decided to take it upon myself to thank Blizzard and all the employees over there for providing one of the best gaming experiences i’ve had in the last decade.
Now I know people love complaining, but Blizzard has actually done a lot of things that the community has wanted for a long time.
Here’s some good examples of Blizzard listenting and responding actively to it’s community:
-
People wanted greater diversity of character so now all the leaders are female and there’s even a transgender character!
-
People hated Azerite farming so now we have Anima, and they made it so much easier to get now that raids and M+ bosses drop them like candy!
-
People hated BfA’s 30 minute long PvP matches, so now they balanced the game around 30 second stun lock matches!
I mean that’s just some areas gameplay wise where Blizzard really fixed a lot of things, but my personal favorite change is how rewarding and fulfilling the game feels now!
And look as a father of 3 and someone with two full time jobs, I really enjoy that Blizzard is taking it back to old school loot where it takes 2 or 3 weeks to see an upgrade. It makes that upgrade feel that much more meaningful!
Thank you so much for your continued work Blizzard, and shout out to Ion for being one of the best devs that this company has seen in a long time!
P.S.
Torghast is incredibly fun, please don’t add anymore rewards besides Soul Ash to it. I find the endless grind extremely rewarding
