All appeals are reviewed by a GM or specialist, until they declare that further appeals will not be taken. This is the only process, whether you agree with the conclusion that the team reaches unfortunately is not relevant.
this is the first reply he got…
If they are already stating that no more appeals will be considered. It may be best to accept the loss. I’m sorry to say. It may not seem like it. But it can get worse for your friend
Nope, I’m afraid not, not about someone else’s account.
I did, and what he replied was let your friend open his own… infinity loop over and over again. but now I let my friend open a “Not listed here” ticket again, since this is not even an appeal anymore, it’s more about Blizzard made a mistake that merged 2 account into 1.
you are right, but we will ask senator/representative to help us then since nothing we can do via Blizzard’s tunnel. And if it still the same, we will give up.
What??? Your elected representatives can help you with Government related services, appointments to military academies, sponsoring bills, etc.
They can not help someone with game appeals.
Sorry to brust that bubble but, they won’t do anything. More so it’s a body of gov. that you’d be talking to, not Blizzard. They have zero to do with a place that isn’t dealing with the public - AKA, trains, buses, something related to that city.
you will be surprised how much they can help
tyvm for the info
Ok… Well good luck with that.
I promise that having a lawmaker attempt to appeal for someone won’t help. Your friend does not own their account, characters, or anything else. They agreed to follow the game rules and if they did not, Blizzard has the right to remove their game access.
That is in the contract between the player and Blizzard. Blizzard did not violate the contract or do anything illegal. There is no consumer rights violation here.
Further, they are kind of busy right now with Election season. heh. Your issue is not a voter issue. It does not result in a photo opportunity or good press.
This is like telling your Senator you got kicked out of Disneyland after breaking the rules and asking the Senator to do something about it. They can’t, and won’t.
Thankfully our Govt does not actually control our private businesses or citizens lives like that.
This is a first for me. In my 15+ years participating on the CS forum, nobody has ever before threatened to invoke the power of Congress.
how come it’s a threat? only looking for a way to speak, and if there is an evident, I am happy to put that on my friend’s face and tell him stop RMT
I understand all you saying, and there is so much mis-understanding under this post. you are 100% right, but we are not even thinking about appeal anymore, it’s more about “Unforeseen disaster” that my friend experiencing.
You don’t seem to understand the basic fact that Blizzard will NOT talk to you, at all. Never. This is between your friend and Blizzard. Period. They will not talk to you, your Senator, your Representative, or the President about this. ONLY YOUR FRIEND.
Also just to point out they didn’t combine your friends accounts, they combined the tickets from the multiple accounts into one ticket because they all involved the same Bnet account and there didn’t need to be a ticket for each account that was actioned. That was not an error.
YOU don’t get a say in this. ONLY your friend and Blizzard are involved.
That’s the problem. Have your friend post here (and I would recommend a new thread with a link to this one), and they would likely get a Blue response rather soon. It’s not official, as they are not GM’s, but they can give your friend advice on what they need to do or if future appeals are worthwhile.
But YOU cannot speak for them, or have any information given to you on their behalf.
YOU are not appealing anything. Your friend is. Quite frankly, you need to remove yourself from the situation and let your friend handle it.
So Blizzard should ban my friend’s btag instead of wow2/3, and stop him creat new account under same btag
It doesn’t matter to YOU. YOU are not involved.
YOU do not get a say in what Blizzard does or does not do to someone else’s account. YOU have no place in the business between your friend and Blizzard.
I understand, and I will zip my mouth, then let things be. and my friend should just let it be as well, even he did nothing. and stop appeal
