Present an actual problem with playing with one spec and having the ability to purchase a respec. QoL is a personal opinion and not a good reason. Laziness is also not a good reason; the game is working as intended, and there is no problem with game mechanics, just entitled players’ mindsets.
Nope, peeps choose to not participate, game mechanics have nothing to do with player laziness, game working as intended, Also note that game participation is subjective and arguably raidlogging and arena logging is a very small percentile of things to do
You’ll NEVER cure some people of their inability to separate Retail from TBC Classic. They’ve grown so used to being able to excel at every aspect of the game with zero drawbacks or sacrifices, that they think that’s the only way an mmo should be designed.
Well, TBC didn’t work that way. Yet amazingly somehow the players dealt with it just fine back then. In fact the population grew substantially in TBC. You know when it started to flatline, even out, and eventually plummet? When Blizz started adding these kind of conveniences. It’s almost like that’s not what the silent majority actually care about.
I think having it doesn’t really make the game better. In fact it makes it objectively worse, by the most important metric: its alikeness in experience to original TBC.
See this doesn’t really add up, I have a full time job, that has an hour and a half commute daily, take care of aging family, pets, and am acting as the contractor to get a house built in terms of getting all permit stuff done and doing what manual labor I can (so i don’t have to pay an actual contractor to do it), and I still find time to play 20+ hours a week.
I was asked about my play time and I answered for that time. I was asked around the middle of December. The holiday season. So I was playing less then. But the amazing part? I was still making a profit with raid expenses and respecing for some pvp every week. I did 2-3 dailies a day at the time, played the AH, and it still covered all my expenses.
Got it so you were lying then about your playstyle, and are now trying to move goal posts.
Well doesn’t really matter because either way we can’t actually take anything you say at face value since you will lie when the truth is inconvenient for you.
He’s never done anything but lie, best to ignore him entirely. He’d claim 2+2=5 if it benefit him in the moment, only to reply later that he never said any such thing. He just disappears from replying for a time so the conversation moves on and then acts like nothing came of it and he was never wrong.
