I think LFD will almost certainly be added but I assume its x-realm that is the holdup? So what if they added x-realm in a similar fashion to Horde vs Horde BGS. It would exist… but would only kick in if youd already spent 10+ minutes in queue. If youre on a large server if would almost never impact you but if youre on a tiny faction it would still allow people to run dungeons.

Realm-only LFD on dead servers or on extreme minority factions would literally not help at all.

In many cases you can fit the entirety of a faction’s current online population inside half a /who window. Including people who are levelling and people playing classes that literally couldn’t tank even if they wanted to. It would literally achieve nothing.

Yes.

Put LFD into Wrath as it was.

People who don’t want to use it don’t have to use it. It has absolutely no effect on their gameplay.

Man, I don’t get you at all. It was only a few weeks ago where every post you made about the dungeon finder was negative. People like you, making the arguments that you did, are the reason it’s being removed in the first place.

Originally the game kind of forced you to be social. You had to group up. You had to make friends. And Blizzard removed all that over the years. Starting really with the Dungeon Finder in Wrath.

WoW just became a lobby game where you queue up for things, join random strangers, do your thing, and move on. Never see or talk to them again. There’s literally no reason to communicate with anyone outside of Mythics. Other players might as well be bots. I don’t know how anyone calls WoW an mmorpg anymore. They’ve completely forsaken the mmo audience.

Connected realms? Are you referring to the cross-realm dungeon finder? Because that’s all that Wrath added in that regard. And there were cross-realm bgs since Vanilla.

I think both those additions were terrible, btw. The last time I really cared about pvp was before patch 1.12 after which point pvp just became about killing and fighting alongside strangers. And the dungeon finder in Wrath destroyed the pve community that LFR finished off in the next expansion. But sadly it’ll be in Wrath since they just use the last patch and every system that existed at the end of the expansion.
