lmfao , havn’t laughed that hard in a long time. This is honestly one of the most accurate posts Ive read on reddit.
Lol
Think about that… It doesnt really make any sense does it? The only way that changes anything is if theres some secret server out there full of tanks with no groups which is suddenly connected to the other servers. Otherwise all youre doing is adding a bunch more dps to the lfg pool who… still wont be able to find a tank
Tell that to my undead rogue on Benediction.
I agree something needs to be done about low pop servers/factions.
I don’t agree LFD as implemented is the only/correct solution
Do you know how a queue works? Say you get off work at 2 A.M. and want to bust out some heroics to wind down before bed. You sit in the queue, and when a tank also finds da way onto the interwebs to queue (It’s always dungeon-o-clock somewhere) poof you might get a group!
With Dual Spec, which we will get at launch instead of 3.2, it’s far more likely a DPS will swap to their OS tank spec. There may not be a secret server full of tanks, the secret is that there’s a tank out there somewhere among the stars (servers).
So your argument isnt for x-server lfd but a queue system so you get the first tank as they become available? Because those are two different things but… sure.
Implement a single server dungeon finder with a queue system. Which is probably pretty close to what they’re already doing since theyre making hints about compromises etc
Considering there is no lfd tool right now, I have no idea what point you’re trying to make.
i always hate these takes, the game is pretty much already a toxic environment, especially for players who dont have gold cap from doing GDKP.
LFD is good because it helps players with no friends get into dungeons.
my experience with heroics in tbc is i have to pay a tank in order to get a group… wouldnt LFD remove that need?
I always have had a laugh when I see Warriors looking for tanks.
My experience is, when I needed Heroics, people where running heroics, and I got them done then.
It has nothing to do with that. The people that dont want lfd do not want it because they wamt to force you to play the game the way they want to play it. The sooner people understand that the sooner those people will start getting ignored.
To clarify, I dislike them removing it completely and if I had my way we would have it in it’s entirety. The best compromise I can see is to restrict cross realm. It isn’t a perfect solution by any stretch, just the best compromise I can see available.
i always laugh at people who think every warrior can just throw on sword and board and tank a heroic with literally 0 gear for the spec besides a shield and 1h. its such a boomer mentality from an inferior player, no offense.
Its all good, I always laughed at the warriors needing on every piece of DPS loot while we leveled up in Classic (I was the Shaman dropping WF and chain heals for the thirsty warriors) if they were tanking or not.
I have no idea what point you’re trying to make.
lol
At least when I I acknowledge the words I type.
It isn’t a perfect solution by any stretch, just the best compromise I can see available.
It’s not a compromise, it’s a huge middle finger to people not in the dominant faction on mega servers.
It’s not a compromise, it’s a huge middle finger to people not in the dominant faction on mega servers.
No, that middle finger would be no lfd at all.
It’s amazing how some people would rather everyone be screwed than have a compromise that helps most players.
As I said, that is not the intent. Part of compromise is that neither side gets all that they want but we each get something. I myself don’t see a better compromise. What is your opinion? Do you see a better compromise for it?
The paid services like gdkp, 50g per run, and “i get all the unwanted stuff” is the real cancer in classic
Except that no one with a pulse got smooshed in WotLK dungeons.
Well, I suppose technically…the ones that got smooshed no longer had a pulse. xD
Lol
I’ve yet to be in a heroics group that could pull the way groups did in Wrath’s heroics.
