I went to the shop, saw this awesome looking mount I would buy but when I click on Shop Now it just scrolls back up to diablo and wow listings. There’s no way to purchase this. How do I get it?

Per Game Rant, even though the event runs until 7 January, the bonus items (pet, cosmetics, mount, toys, etc) will NOT delivered until between 17 January 2025and 7 July 2025.

I think you just need to buy the version of D4 that includes it.
I didn’t pre-order, I bought the game on discount, yet I have this mount.
Haven’t actually checked it out, but that’s how I got it. Not sure if things have changed.
It used to be part of the pre-purchase cross promotions for D4. BUT there is a current Holiday cross game promotion they are doing right now. Apparently they added the mount to that so people who missed it can get it.
You need to have TWW and D4 Vessel of Hatred Expansion licenses on your Battlenet (or linked to it and logged in) before the cut off date.

Do you also need the D4 base game if you purchase VOH on Bnet? I have no interest in D4, just in it for the mount

I have both expansions for D4 and WoW. I still haven’t gotten the gift. I had them purchased before this was announced. Are you supposed to get the gift right away or do we need to wait?

Now IMO, it was never 100% confirmed this works but according to OP of that post, someone can gift you the expansion (You can’t personally buy the expac).
Meaning if it works as suggested (on that thread), in theory, you should be able to get it with just the expac
