AH SW griefing(ended discussion, no more responses.)

Guess he must’ve hated the treatment you guys probably gave him at the goldshire inn.

shoulda said the safe word.
mine is ‘pineapple juice’

Didn’t we just have to sign some kind of electronic agreement that kind of said otherwise?

Time to go beatup alliance AH NPCs hehe… I’m taking all their stuff!

thats not new at all, they just put it in a ui element recently

Someone should just close the AH door to keep the Tauren out.

I’m guessing this is why people want the Brontosaur AH mount back, because of AH griefing. I wish they made the guards one shot players, but yeah if I had a AH mount I wouldn’t mind idling for an hour for players.

Maybe in the future Blizz could make an AH mount that isn’t so big where it blocks mailboxes.

I read the topic, you want them to stop killing the npcs, kill them.

Why is that so hard for you to comprehend?

Irrelevant as of last year. This is New Blizzard.

I’m sorry you’re getting angry, but it doesn’t change what the contract you agreed to says.

Always used to. Last year, things have changed.

Irrelevant as of last year.

Let him vent out his anger from being objectified as beef

I and many alliance have spent the good part of this day killing npcs as soon as they spawn in arathi. Should I be worried about getting actioned?

It isn’t. It’s never been irrelevant.

I’m not angry. Don’t try to gaslight.

The same contract I agreed to over a decade ago. Literally said so by a blue post even.

To be clear, everyone is already expected to follow the In-game Code of Conduct in Blizzard games. The Social Contract you’re referring to is simply an in-game presentation and a reminder of the existing rules and recommnedations for player behavior.

The truth isn’t gaslighting.

You’re out of your mind if you think that.

Clearly words you live by.

If you can’t have a conversation without making crap up, then don’t speak.

Literally posted by a blue and an orange.

Keep ignoring facts. It just makes you look worse.

lmao…really?
Hows all those griefing reports you filed against the AH killers panning out for you?
Oh…didnt even slow the killing down?
And bliz DIDNT make the AH NPCs unkillable?
Huh…guess you got your answer on YOUR poor interpretation of the new social contract, lol

Oh I wouldn’t do that. I’d just kill them or go to Dwarven District. I’m not a crybaby.

Nonetheless, the social contract you agreed to is very clear.

No, it is not. The same terms were in the 2004 TOS. I can link it if you want.

Because people try to use the “but I was harassed/griefed” blanket excuse for anything they don’t like, Blizzard even has PvP specific articles explaining that PvP - is NOT griefing or harassment. Even if someone ganks you, kills low levels, corpse camps you, or invades the city. Those are literally part of the game.

Common Problems

  • A player is camping me
  • Keep being ganked and can’t play the game at all
  • A player of the opposite faction is killing NPCs

:dracthyr_a1:The Game Master staff will not intervene in Player versus Player (PvP) disputes. :dracthyr_no2:

World of Warcraft

If you do not wish to engage in open world PvP combat in World of Warcraft, disable War Mode.

WoW Classic and Burning Crusade Classic

If you do not wish to engage in regular PvP combat, you must create your character on a Player versus Environment (PvE) realm. On a PvE realm, you can freely choose when you want to engage in open world PvP combat by enabling or disabling your PvP flag.

If you chose to create your character on a PvP realm, Game Masters will not address situations where you are repeatedly killed by the opposite faction. This includes situations that may be considered dishonorable such as corpse camping or killing players well below your level.

Killing the AH NPCs is not against the rules. Not then, not now.

ILL ASK YOU AGAIN…’
HOW is all those reports for the killing going for you?
answer the question son…or is it that you KNOW blizzard ISNT reacting BECAUSE it ISNT violation to kill those NPCs? lol

OK, this is all well and good, but the social contract you agreed to does not make that distinction nor does it reference the EULA in any way or stipulate that anything in the EULA supercedes it. It is a completely seperate agreement you had to accept or exit the game and it was clear how it defined actions that ran contrary to the spirit of the community.

Repeatedly killing an AH NPC may be - to some - extremely hostile and unwelcoming, especially in a PVE environment and a clear violation of both the letter and spirit of that contract.

and yet Blizzard refuses to hear your complaints and make those NPCs unkillable like they would IF they actually CARED about this issue. lol.
Take a hint guy…they DONT CARE
