Adjustments to Dungeon Creature Behavior and Group XP

Quit trying to impose your personal preferences on everyone else. Grow up.

More than 1 :grinning:

No, instead you play era that only has 5 people left on it. You should try SOM, its booming in comparison

I remember when Classic players swore Classic servers would still be very healthy even after TBCC launch, and that TBCC was a phase and wouldn’t last very long.

And now, crickets…

Lol even the crickets left those servers.

The most balanced pvp server I ever seen though was a classic era server, it was 50%, even better than Grobs balance!

There was 8 horde and 8 alliance

Store boost alone doesn’t get you to max level though.

I think you won’t find anyone agreeing to AFKing at an isntance portal being a valid gameplay mode. At least trying to keep up with the booster and not dying would be an improvement, or anything that would make being boosted an actual activity instead of afk leveling enabled by a WA. But blizzard’s solutions are always heavy handed and unimaginative, yet still preferable to inaction.

In reality its a nonissue if someone got boosted to max. If a terrible player got boosted or levelled to max theyre still a terrible player. If a good player levelled to max or got boosted theyre still the same player. The only reason people dont want people getting boosted is because they feel it devalues the effort they put into levelling themselves. It doesnt and thats a childish reason.

I’m not imposing anything. Blizzzard is killing boosting.

Cope.

I wish they communicated on why they lied about LFD.
I guess you gotta take some victories, if you wanna call it that.

Yeah, but validating idle gameplay is just wrong. The problem is almost-botting through levels, not the boosting itself.

Guess this means we’ll be seeing ‘character trains’ again in the overworld. :\

Boosting has always been around. If the community wasnt a majority of impatient ppl who only boost cuz they need everything as fast as possible it would still be here,. Its good news to stop bad game play and return the player to the world, i levelled last month and i had to buy boost for certain instances only because i could not find 5 ppl willing on a big server… End game is fairly easy wow classic and is only a part of the game, the world is the journey, end game being the only game is for retail. I think the lvl boost should go too but i like the change.

I totally see nerfing xp as being “reasonable” (even though you sell boosts…) but nerfing mobs leashing just ruins how many legit players reasonably farm at a decent rate. If the problem is trying to stop people from RMTing gold from mages botting dungeons* all you have to do is fix your botting problem… This change just harms legitimate play and doesn’t fix the underlying issue.

The boosting xp nerf is fine. It was never the intention for players to sit at an instance entrance while some high level clears the dungeon.

Bots exist because people buy gold. If Blizz punished gold buyers, then bots would cease to exist. And not some pathetic 3 day suspension. Banned account, first offense.

Blizz has a record of every transaction in the game. They know who buys gold, and they know who sells gold. If they wanted to actually pay some people to keep track of that and deal with the issue, they could.

I don’t think kiting mobs indefinitely in dungeons particularly by abusing terrain was ever intended.

I didn’t think I had to explain why not playing the game to play the game was a bad thing for the game.

If the concern is the leveling experience, then it should be addressed, not left to the objectively bad boosting epidemic to solve a problem that should be solved through gameplay.

If you think boosting is okay, then you are quite short sighted on what a game should be.

Pretty sure at this point anyone that’s a community council member probably would be better off not trying to explain anything, especially ones like Samfoxy.
