I have been able to access and create characters on the Beta today. But now when I log in and select any of the 3 realm options, it am getting the error message

Access to this realm requires an account with a valid access license (WOW51900337

You made it further than me. I couldn’t even copy any of my characters. Now I’m getting the same error.

oh good. not just me, in that case I’m gonna give em a few hours and go play something else in the meantime, it is a beta, I expect bugs.

Sadly, the CS forum can’t help with this. Anything beta related is where the Devs have full control over.

Oh, copying characters still isn’t working for me. I was able to copy account data, but not any characters. I was able to make a new level 80, but instantly disconnected when i pressed enter world, then the no valid account error started.

Same here. I guess “immediate access” is interpretable.

Nothing can be done here. CS forum is not beta feedback or bug reporting.

You need to post in the beta forum.

how did you get copy characters to show up, im like 40 minutes in and the closest i have gotten is geographic list to populate (n america, europe, etc). never at any point has anything else shown up

They might not be able to if their license isn’t being recognized.

That said, we’re aware of the reports and it’s being looked into.

and if we can’t post in the beta forum? whhat’s your suggestion then?

as i said, i cannot copy characters yet, it just errors. for a short moment about 30 mins ago, there was an option that allowed me to copy account data, but no character list has shown since i did that.

Wait until you can.

Remember, it’s Beta. It will be constantly up and down. There will be issues. That’s the point.

While we all appreciate your suggestion, the process of “If you cannot access the beta forum, you shouldn’t post bug related issues about account access or the beta until you can.” isn’t a great way to approach things.

We understand that the beta will have issue, the purpose of participating with the beta is to post bugs with the beta. And since there was no other way to report this issue than to bring it to the forums, and post it on the most appropriately accessible channel that was available. Posting any bugs with the beta via the most appropriate channel available is still better than not posting about a beta bug.

Sharing this update – if you have beta access but are unable to access the In Development War Within Beta forum, please log out of the forums and log back in. This should refresh your access to specific categories that have more specific requirements.

done this…still cannot access the beta forums…and cannot actually participate in the beta as when i’m supposed to choose an account it doesn’t list the account that has TWW attached to it.

When you are in the launcher and have World of Warcraft game selected, you will see a dropdown option in the bottom left that says Game Version. When you expand that, ‘IF’ you have beta access assigned to your account, the very top option will say The War Within Beta.

If this option is not there for you, then you currently do not have beta assigned to your account. You will either have to wait, or it could be a rights issue that will need a support ticket raised from your account profile on battle.net.
