I just love how the twink players defended their playstyle saying it was not “noobstomping” but “more fun and competitive than max lvl pvp” and now when they finally have the chance to play “fun and competitive pvp” between themselves, twink community is suddenly dead. Lol. Good riddance.
Apparently twinkling was its own little community? I mean twinking is pretty dumb in modern wow considering how easy it is to access end game and end game gear.

It wasn’t all of them who played for that reason. There are many who do play for that reason and you can easily identify them as they use terms like “git gud” or call casual levelers “bads” or “scrubs”. They also have overall angry or negative dispositions. They’re the ones who all the stereotypes originate from.
There are others who did it for preservation purposes and genuinely do like to focus on other like players. Don’t paint these guys with the same brush.
It’s no different than uninformed people who believe all LFR players just AFK or all high ranked arena players are elitists.

Nah, we all meet in a smoky candlelit room and chant around the pentagram the names of all the noobs we’ve slain. We bargain our sacrifices for the power to play PVP competently because we cant cut it at 120.

I think you might not understand why people twink. Hardly anyone twinks because they can’t make it to end-game. The amount of time spent gearing a twink in some brackets is enough to get to cap and fairly geared if they didn’t decide to make it a twink.
Why do people twink? Well it depends on who you ask.
If you ask someone who recently came from a bg being gy camped by a group of 5 twinks, then you’ll be told that they’re all griefers who can’t play well enough to do end game and have to take it out on new players.
Some just enjoy gearing up characters and having an end goal, unlike BFA gearing where you’re always chasing RNG procs on pieces of gear.
Some like to do battlegrounds and not really have to worry about their team yelling at them because they’re terrible. The gear will level out their skill.
Some like to see what they can do in terms of fighting high level elite mobs.
Some like to fight high level players that intend to gank them, thus turning the fight around and killing the high level ganker.
Some like the competitive aspect with low gear and few abilities. There is some beauty in simplicity.
Some truly do enjoy just one shotting people constantly.
There are many reasons for people to twink and I likely didn’t even cover all of them.
Where do I fall in personally? Many places. I enjoy the gearing, though it isn’t my favorite part of twinking and I get bored of it quickly. I enjoyed low level battlegrounds because I’m not much of a pvper, I prefer competitive teamwork rather than competitive sh!t talk to your own team. I see a lot of sh!t talk in max level battlegrounds. Most people are chill while leveling, and even if they arent, you can help push the team to the winning side or give them a winning chance and it usually mellows out. As well as this, I’m terrible at max level pvp and enjoy the simplicity of low level pvp. Not having to keep track of a bunch of abilities from a bunch of people is great and I love battlegrounds without mounts. And finally, I twink because I like to fight gankers. I love it when a level 40-50 drops on me as a lvl 19 with the intention of an easy kill and I can turn it around and kill them instead.
I hope this helped you to understand why people twink. We aren’t all the same. We don’t all just want to pwn those new players and say git gud scrub lul.

Your statement is based on a personal perspective, however lacks any evidence of proving that the majority are not doing the opposite of what you are saying. However, if you truly don’t want to be stomping people who aren’t BiS, and aren’t focusing on this bracket, the xp off bracket is perfect for you, it’s not our fault your community is too small to not be able to fill BGs.

I never once claimed that the majority of people were doing anything in this post. I stated the many things that twinks do, not once stating the amount of people that did it.
Then your entire post is completely pointless.
Okay, but how do you not have enough time to get to lvl 120 but have time to look around for people to kill while low lvl?
I’m not quite sure how attempting to help people to understand the reasons for people twinking is pointless?
I’m really not sure how you managed to re-generalize all twinks into one group after I spent all of that time explaining the reasons that people twink…

Because you have no clue what you are talking about, you can’t speak for others on ‘why they twink’, you can only speak why you twink.
Like I said, we do have the time to reach cap, and many do. I have 3 120’s and I raided for a while, but I quit and went back to twinking because BFA is terrible. Not everyone wants end game.
I can speak based on what I’ve seen from being part of the twinking community. Does this not make sense to you somehow?

Then my next question is why won’t you just kill lvl 120 players in open world then. I know bleeding hollow has a lot of horde. You can just transfer to a server like Kel Thuzad and kill lvl 120s to your liking. Your justification is flawed.
As I said, some don’t enjoy max level pvp. I personally don’t. As well as that, BFA pvp is gear driven. To do world pvp and not get one shot by the twinks of max level, you’d have to do BFA content to get gear.
Much like levelers don’t want to do dungeons to get a few pieces of gear to fight twinks at low level, twinks don’t want to do all of the BFA bs to get gear to fight the 120’s. Actually, with that train of thought, we should separate 120 battlegrounds by ilvl, maybe in increments of 5? Makes perfect sense based on their logic when dealing with twinks.
