A really really long awkward drawn out sad goodbye to the twink community

Twinks have never really been allowed to do what they want. Maybe until they fix an exploit or bug. Anyway you seem a reasonable person, and I wish you well with the game moving forward :sunny:

I appreciate the kind reply, I feared this post would go on with spiteful words forever. We started off rocky but I’m glad we could at least be a little reasonable in the end… only took 403 posts in total. Enjoy your non-twink bgs… I won’t be enjoying bg’s until classic unfortunately. Watch yourself in classic if you decide to play it because I know a lot of twinks are moving there with full force and I highly doubt Blizzard is going to do anything about it.

I just changed my toon for the forum. I think it’s allowed?

I played vanilla. The thing about that was you never really knew any better and you had to learn to compete. I agree that is a bit of a flaw with WOW nowadays tbh.

I wil be giving classic a try and it might be on horde because my friends seem to be moving in that direction, only fair since the retail wow has been alliance for years (with my friends I mean)

Actually, Vanilla will be good to twinks.

I know it will but the issue we were dealing with is not Vanilla. I played Vanilla did you?

I’ll probably remake my 39 twink hunter.

Master Hunter Rifle with +7 scope.

Mmmmm. Aimed Shot.

Nope. But it was a few years of players complaining about twinks, like now, that got them removed in the first place.

We all know the real reason for the recent update about twinks was Blizzard losing out to the people selling island/freehold carries for gold in game.

You can’t honestly say that them denting their bottom line with WoW tokens being traded around on the AH made them lose reliable revenue vs. one time spend. For 12 months of gameplay, you’d need 1,5000,000 gold. Some people have the longboi and play the AH game, and have their subs paid for by other schmucks that sell tokens and legally buy their gold from Blizzard.

So Blizzard makes an extra ~$7 off someone who was already paying for their subscription, or otherwise had extra gold, and also bolsters their own in-game inflation thus causing more expenditure in-game.

The person who didn’t pay a dime out of their actual pocket now has the game and content unlocked, and shows it as a player online, rather than one subscribed to the game. It’s all about numbers and representation.

If the person that buys the service is on the $77/6mo plan, then the net gain is only around $2 for every wow token purchased by someone else who doesn’t have a sub.

Very true and it was always the undergeared/bads

I guess so. Rightly in my opinion, and the people that matter.

Interesting that you think that you’re all that matters.

That is your opinion. I’m happy with the outcomes.

It’s ok Jugaa you have been right all along with your crusades for twinks. As the results have shown… Others obviously see it differently, and that’s life.

Nothing against you at all, you’ve been barking up the wrong tree, be humble enough to admit it. I would.

I mean I have. Sometimes Blizzard sees things differently.

I feel sorry for you. Take care of yourself. Going on to another toon to post on the forums. Bye.

Alright see ya

Okay Frokk

Yeah, so happy about this change… I can level in BGs again without being farmed by 1 shot hunters, even though i’m fully in blues and boas. Thanks blizzard!
