A really really long awkward drawn out sad goodbye to the twink community

You don’t have to do BfA content you can just pvp. Do arenas and rbgs and stuff. I’ve seen players climb ilvls just by pvping only. Now they changed it so regular pvp gives conquest too if you win.

I would honestly just come on my 120 and camp little hordelings for hours because of this mentality.

That makes no sense. Personally, I just want templates back in PVP so gear doesn’t matter at all. But guess what, the twink community hates that thought, as evidence by all the negative posts based on stat templates.

Nah man, we loved that stat template stuff! We abused the sh!t out of it! It was the levelers (once again) that hated it! I’d love to see stat templates again, especially if it let us back into bgs

I guess that is fairly true. Still, some don’t like max level pvp. That’s the best explanation I can give.

I can sum all of this up in just a few words.
FUN DETECTED
FUN DESTROYED
I miss my twink :frowning:

i dont really agree with that, the gear gap is huge at 120. my rogue was like 278 when it hit 120, and there were dps with double my health in bgs(110k vs 220k+)

sure i could tough it out in pvp until im geared, but i dont like being worthless to my team and that would take a while. maybe some classes do better but an undergeared rogue is worthless on most maps

Then you don’t understand how scaling works in modern wow. Just like how 110s were going around and farming 120s at the start, before they made adjustments to the scaling process.

If I’m not mistaken, that was the product of people with legendaries fighting people without legendaries?

what dont i understand? form my own experience my rogue has 110k health and 410 geared players are 220k

the scaling that exists isnt the end all be all to gear gaps. there is a very large gap right now between fresh 120s and geared players. it takes weeks of pve to get there

Ah yes… at the start…

patch 8.1.5, almost 9 months after the change to scaling you’re referring to.

Legendaries are part of it, but not the only part. I was owning 120s at 110 and I had no legendaries.

Well all I can say is, I don’t think the same thing applies to fresh 120’s and geared 120’s. Most people talk about new 120’s as being free kill in battlegrounds.

this is the BG forum, you cant even play against 120s at 110 in bgs

wpvp has some funky scaling going on though, and legandaries are a big factor

It doesn’t people who come in with less 100k may as well be naked they are that worthless

Haha, i remember the outcry from the 120 community by being beat by 110s. This was also the time Disc priests were insane and topping dmg.

Similar to players with half of their gear missing in leveling bgs. Look, it went full circle. So in conclusion, since they separated geared players at low levels, they should do the same at max level. Let’s see how everyone enjoys those queue times then.

Right, thats why at 80k health balance druid, I topped the charts pulling 7 million dmg. Against many fully geared players… Thats why people were void vaulting high ilvl gear, and doing lower ilvl with sockets so they get the benefits. You have no clue what you are talking about. Stay in your 100 bracket.

Pretty much also don’t forget the people who wear cloth gear as mail for example

At 120, we are in the same position as you. We are in an XP off bracket. Your logic makes no sense. All they did was remove you from XP on.

Don’t play this toon so nice try spamming moonfire/sunfire isn’t hard. I stand by my standment
man you are a moron

Never said it was hard, but it does completely invalidate your claim.
