9.1 Issue - Open Map Causes game to stutter when walking

I loaded into 9.1 and noticed any time I opened the map and walked the screen would stutter, I disabled all of my add-ons and this still occurred, I am on the latest driver 471.11.

Anyone else noticing this?

same here, disabled all addons, opening and closing map drops frames dramatically, was working fine before patch

Same thing for me. Doesn’t matter if I’m moving or not or where I am. Made a post in the bug report forum about it, too.

yup same issue here! i lose about 15-20 frames and the game stutters now with the map open since new patch. no addons

Hey all,

Is this happening in a specific zone or area of the game? Or is it pretty much everywhere including older zones/cities?

Note that disabling addons isn’t quite the same as resetting the UI completely (even when the addons are disabled they can still affect the game files). If you want to try resetting the UI and test again that would be helpful just so we can rule that out.

Issue is happening everywhere in Shadowlands content; older zones are fine.

Reset, nada.
Deleting cache folder, nada.
Happens on the Flight selection map, too.
So far, appears to only happen on my lv60 characters.
Shadowlands, BfA, Legion. Anything with WQ or content markers.

Updated; it’s not limited to SL, BFA, Le zones. Classic, BC, Wrath and Cata zones are affected as well. Just that it’s a lot less noticeable. Like 1~3 FPS loss with it open.
Still appears to only affect my lv60 characters so far.

It doesn’t seem to be affecting everyone, so maybe we can find some commonality between the systems for those that are experiencing it.

Also I am on Solid State Drive,I also reset the ui etc. and this issue started with the new patch today
