If you pay for 3 days early access for what was already 2 weeks early access before the next raid tier, then does it even matter?
Saying it’s $90 for early access is disingenuous. The $90 includes the early access, beta access, a month of game time, some pets and toys and crap aaaaand the expansion itself.
There’s no reason anybody absolutely needs to start three days early. It’s a luxury. It’s a small perk added on top of everything else you get for $90.

Do you realize that WoW hasn’t increased the price of a subscription ever? If they kept up with inflation, your subscription would now be $24.37 USD and the game itself would be $81.26 USD for the base version ($14.99 for the sub in 2004 and $49.99 for the game itself).
That’s a 38.5% decrease in price over the last 20 years. The top-tier game price today of $89.99, with all the fixin’s, would be the same as paying $55.36 in 2004.
That’s a helluva savings, to be honest.
It’s increased in every other country but US…

wdym prove it? I know how much I’ve been paying through the years and have not been getting more expensive.
In fact, due to LatAm consideration, I pay around $11 usd/ month.

When they were talking about this expansion and armor set you could get did they ever mention you had to do a bunch of Dragon races to get the armor set or did I miss that part?
You do not have to dragon race to get the set. You do have to dragon race in order to get the Empowered version. But you don’t have to get gold times. Just finish the races.
I preordered because I am very happy that they are doing some early access features. I usually don’t preorder, but I was very pleased with the setup of this one. I was a head start player on Guild Wars 2 and I just loved how that went. We got the first launch day wave and that went pretty well, then a few days later we got the second launch day wave.
but life and my kids will let me know when I have “Any Access” to WoW, regular, heroic or epic editions of the expansion be damed 
, if your in a hardcore guild like that, reach out and pool your money together then if money is tight to pay for the Early access of the more hardcore raiders & players, otherwise see you days later when the kinks are worked out 
Im addicted though, it funny cuz its been the same complaint too every expansion
