A different shaped avatar in a video game - Earn it if you want it. There being no allied races in SL is a complete non sequitur to unlocking old ones and what does time walking have anything at all to do with allied races? They already removed the rep requirements, and they require you to go through a quest line 1 time on 1 character for the life of the account. boo hoo

I’m guessing he’s trolling.

He made another thread about this 10 days ago. It didn’t take that long to unlock when bfa was current (And they were available to unlock)

Ironic because they race you’re playing was just given to you, and if allied races were introduced in BC, people would have called it what it is: trash.

It’s not one questline. It’s literally hundreds of quests for at LEAST a dozen hours in old content that has no relevance anymore.

I haven’t been able to play in the last week.

I’m going off my in game play time.

You have it easy. Be thankful you didn’t have to go through the original slog:

  • Reach Exalted reputation level with [Admiralty of the Valiant House]
  • Get the achievement [A united nation:]
    Complete the following achievements and missions on the continent of Kul Tiras:
    • Kul Tiras Cultural Master
    • The pride of Kul Tiras
    • A united nation
  • Get the achievement [Tides of Vengeance ): Complete the Tides of Vengeance war campaign with the Alliance.

oh so that should be enough for the people who like to earn their rewards - how generous of you to say that should be enough. What if they are like me and hate the story but like earning a reward - we are out of lucky because you types are lazy?

“It used to be more awful before” is not a good argument.

Also the only difference is rep.

You should have played in BFA if you want to earn the reward.

You had your time, and now that time is in the past.

i think allied races should be unlocked by now, but i gotta say i’m surprised people dont enjoy the zones in BfA. that was like, the one thing that expansion did really well was the questing

Slog? I unlocked the race by simply playing the game. All of those achievements were earned through normal questing. After completing the campaign quests I was half way through revere.

if you are lazy just transfer a horde character who has all the reps exalted to alliance - I believe they get the equivalent reps for alliance automatically.

I did play - I said what if they are like me. How is they should have played then an acceptable argument when you didn’t like it when I said you should have done it then?

Agreed. I just meant there was a LOT to do to get there. And a few walls to slow you down.

The game is now Dragonflight, not BFA. Being forced to go back to an older expansion is the definition of slog. “Just play the game” isn’t relevant anymore.

The reps don’t matter.

Most of which aren’t there anymore.

It’s always relevant to have rewards that are awarded by playing the game. It doesn’t matter if it’s from an old expansion. Having rewards that need to be earned by playing the game is important and something most games do. Especially games in the MMORPG genre.

The only thing they removed was rep. Everything else is the same.

I thought it was stupid to remove the3 need for pathfinder from WoD and Legion too.

You don’t have to complete the dungeons either. In the 2 hrs you’ve spent here, you could have had the race unlocked. It really isn’t that hard or take that time.

I’ve been questing this whole time dude. Objectively wrong.

I have spent literally 9 consecutive hours of play on this.

I must be doing something really wrong then

I’d prefer doing the dungeons, but it takes longer to do, so I’m not going to.

The druid forms and the heritage armor coat are my favorite. Plus I use haymaker all the time, usually followed by a skull bash/rush when it wears off.

For me the slog was totally worth it but it wasn’t too bad being higher level than the xpac and going back to unlock it. If you have a 60 or 70 it will probably speed up the process.

bro if its taking you this long you may need to reconsider what game you are playing.

I will agree all of the allied races for the most part sucked to get, but the zones werent that bad and i actually liked Kul’Tiras at level 60 during SL. Even levelling there wasn’t so bad just slightly confusing. Also, imo mechagnomes have the worse questline compared to KT
