Class Tuning Incoming -- November 22

We’re preparing a tuning pass that focuses on high target count situations, based on data gathered from the Dragonflight Beta.

We’re adding reduced-damage-beyond-5/8-targets to a number of AOE spells, reducing the damage of a few spells, and increasing the damage of others with the intent of improving balance across specs in this damage profile.

We’ll be hotfixing these changes into the Beta very soon, and we’ll then apply them to the live game with scheduled weekly maintenance, which is Tuesday, November 22 in this region.

Very dissapointing. Target caps are a trash idea that was a part of a trashcan of an xpansion known as shadowlands and should be left in shadowlands.

Instead of uncapping more abilities you continuelly cap few abilties left in the game that are uncapped.

The reason m+ was so fun and popular is cuz big pulls with big aoe is fun. GG blizz. always coming up with problems that did not exist.

literally every pull in every dungeon is 8+ mobs and most abilities are capped at 5.

They really don’t want people playing Shadow this expansion, huh?

Looks good. It’s important for the classes to be as balanced as possible.

I expect we’ll see additional tuning passes once Dragonflight launches and players start running max level content.

Are you serious right neow

If they let people deal damage to big packs, those dang dungeoneers might finish their dungeon in 18 minutes instead of 34 minutes, and that’s bad. The dungeons are meant to be savored like an expensive wine. You aren’t meant to be clapping NPCs for loot, you’re going through a paced and curated sensual experience.
