Problem with Corr is, they are not flashy, even when Zerg masses them almost every game. They dont win games, they deny any air army to enemy and let other units do the actual winning.

You’re not wrong, but that’s not the point. Corruptors dominate the air game. A Protoss that stays Golden Armada against massed Corruptors always loses, because Corruptors are vastly more cost effective and are replaced as fast as they die.

I’ve seen a mass of 14 BCs get OBLITERATED by mass Corruptors at the pro level. I think it was Gumiho, though not sure. It’s not even close. I’ve never seen a Terran air army beat a Zerg air army at the pro level. Ever.

1. The mothership is UNIVERSALLY laughed at. I’m saying everyone knows better than your theoretical “worlds best”. There’s a reason everyone time it’s built in a pro game there’s a groan from every caster and viewer…because it’s really…really bad.

4. Actually in this balance patch they nerfed Infestors substantially and then BUFFED lurkers…it’s like the balance team understands if you nerf one thing you need to buff something else
5. AAM doesn’t need to do damage, it makes anything that attacks rapidly (BCs for example) do substantially more damage. But go ahead, follow your own advice, continue being stupid.

Right, the beam bug where Beam units fired instantly after killing a target was fixed.

That still is not a set 33% difference though. It depends on the exact number of Void Rays and number of shots needed to kill the target, and it arguably doesn’t affect more than one Void Ray at a time unless it completely gets rid of the cooldown.

However, even without the beam bug, the Void Ray’s charged DPS against armored air and ground is far too high for a 3 supply unit considering its other stats.

If you guys are so desperate to have this unit nerfed, then nerf its cost. Probably Add 75 minerals and 75 gas to make it so that Zerg players actually decide whether they had to commit into producing massive amounts of Corruptors or spend it elsewhere.

To be honest, the unit is fine as it is. Don’t fix anything unless it’s broken.

Very reasonable suggestion. But still, zerg armies would still be supply inflated. I propose raising the zergling supply cost to 4, 2 for each zergling (have you checked out 3/3 crackling dps? I’m still being light).

Alternatively, makes drones 5 supply each, that should make it that if zergs want to keep their great economy and remax potential, they need to sacrifice army supply.

Either way, to keep things sort of fair, I wouldn’t implement both solutions at the same time, it might be too harsh. Those fool zerg players need to learn how to play properly sized armies before balancing their race.

You cannot engage into that as a zerg, ffs, that’s why it has to be taken apart one by one (abduct, PB, parasite, whatever), otherwise you lose. Flying 12 BC’s to 26 Corruptors leaves you instantly with 14 corruptors. Do you know what happens to 14 corruptors when they meet 12 BC’s and 14 vikings? And you could have even more corruptors than that…
