Rogue got 3/4’s of his tournament earnings from 1 event. Winning 1 event != refutation of the fact that Protoss players are severely restricted in what tournaments are available.
Protoss are utterly dominating dozens and dozens of small and medium sized events, which collectively put a Protoss at #2 in earnings, only beaten by 1 player who won 1 event worth $150k.
66k/100k from one single tournament.

If you take away Zest’s IEM winnings he wouldnt even crack the top 10. Rogue still would though.

The fact of the matter is that Protoss are winning dozens and dozens of events and that they have taken #2 in earnings. One Zerg won one large event to put him in first place. One data point doesn’t invalidate a hundred. It’s the exception that proves the rule.

That shows P winning more tournaments, however, that includes every tournament, even weekly tournaments which is where Protoss excels and have the highest amount of wins, Minor Major and Premier T has won more.

It’s also a fact that top players usually do not play in such tournaments or are doing it almost 4fun, the outcome of the tournament is heavily decided by the one who is playing it. Maru/TY could play in every weekly and would probably win 90% of them.
