Actually ive been trying all of these recomendations for 2 hrs…
could i please get some help? im hard stuck cant get into NA, only logins me into korean servers.
ok first off dude i havent insulted no one, get your facts straight. secondly, if fixs work for others why wouldnt we post them and spread the word. Just cause it doesnt work for some people, should we not post them and screw the rest of the people over that it will work for. i mean come on if you think thats the case your nothing but a selfish child, and need to get your head out your rear and stop thinking its all about you. 3rd crying and yelling at the few people who are trying to help you aint gonna get you no where at all, and most likely banned from the forums for acting like so. 4th anyone experiencing problems today is cause blizzards api is down and busted, there fixing it. sc2pulse already put out a statement on twitter, how long before its fixed who knows with blizzard. so chill your horses and go find something else to do besides come to the forums to cry about a game you havent played in years anyways.

I have the same problem right now on 1/14/25! Ridiculous. Everything else launches , SC1, OW, D2-4 but not SC2. So annoying
again speed hands read other post i just said 2 replys back that blizzards api is broken and there working on it, when it will get fixed who knows. probably a day or two.
you know that post got deleted right, how am i suppose to see what you said in that. frankly the post from you on the forums here are litterally you crying about how were helping people. do you even have a problem that needs adressed or are you just here to stir trouble?

Unfortunately, it’s an issue on the server side. There isn’t anything that the player can do for themselves.
There are some things that players have been trying, but none are true fixes.
Just want to say I am also having this issue just got my computer up and running after having issues reinstalled both Bnet and SC2 and getting this error on US and EU but can log into KR

Haven’t played Starcraft 2 in quite some time, think I played last November 7th 2024 according to my replays. Straight to say: I’m also having this pop-up & issue.
I’ve not seen a fix from my search (Probably poor) and neither have I figured out anything on my end. I’m only able to log into Korean (KR) servers. I’ve logged in and out from there then tried again, failed. I’ve tried offline mode through American (US) region which I was able to do IF & only if my internet was out however not what I wanted because the Arcade games I wanted to play were not there due to my absence of playing. I’ve tried scanning & repairing and of course no dice.
I have recently upgraded to Windows 11 from 10 after a while which I probably should’ve done a lot sooner but had to now. I’m unsure if my upgrade has anything to do with my problems but more unsure after seeing people talk about the issue affecting new & returning players which I’m not sure if I fall under the ladder.
I’ve seen people talk about reinstalling, firewalls, beta launcher, deleting a PTR executable, clearing caches and etc but numerous people saying that none of it worked.
Also I’ve looked through these forums a few times regarding this issue and a little surprised to see people arguing/fighting, some even recreating arguments belonging in kindergarten which’re usually between children…

Here is a long thread from almost 3 years ago with an identical issue and how it was resolved.
I’ll spare the paragraph rant but suffice to say, yes, it is Blizzard’s responsibility because it’s locked behind their live service.

Also, get rid of online authenticator for campaign/singleplayer gameplay. 14 years later. One of the campaigns is free-to-play anyways, right? 100% absurd.
Hi. First of all greetings to everyone, nice to meet you.
So, as far as I can see. By necessity I should sold out my PC years ago and never been able to buy other one capable enough to play Starcraft2 (actually I don’t have a PC), and now that a friend of my installed the game just for me to play it again cause I grow up with Starcraft/SC2 and I still love them, I found that can’t log in on US/AMERICAS server in which, theoretically, are all my achievements, my player and more.
And the one of the answers is “Still you can play in KR servers” where I must start all over again cause there is nothing about me and the years I spent playing SC2, like the CO-OP commanders I bough and take to the max level I could get.
All this makes me quite sad cause I can’t play, brute force doesn’t work yet, and there is no clear answer from Blizzard just posts that seen like justifying themself for forgetting about the game and claiming that the players should be just grateful cause the game still “works”.
In some way this is quite heart breaking and it feels like a betrayal.
At least if there were an answer saying “We are working to fix the problem” it would be make us feel that Blizzard still cares for the players. Maybe there is the post and I haven’t see it, but for now this is how everything feels.
How is it that this has been an issue for a year now? Blizzard this game it outright unplayable for a large percentage of your playerbase. These people paid for a service they have not been receiving for upwards of a year, not a good look for you.
still getting the error on EU and US, not KR, firewall disable, reinstall (SC2 and battlenet) didn’t help either, no updates, no issues when checking the files, game… broken…

“Temporary outage…” error on US and EU servers for like 1 day already, KR works fine. Good job Blizzard, way to go!
Having the same issue now. Have a fresh new PC with fresh Battle.net and the game installation. I just wanted to relive the good old days and play StarCraft 2 on my new laptop, but ended up with a dose of disappointment. I opened a support ticket; let’s see what they say.
