It was ridiculous because your queens couldn’t counter it. As Mr. Barcode above stated, most Zergs were already adapting to it and instead it got nerfed.

This is the exact same queen whine we’ve been hearing from forum terrans for years. Theres no need to argue against this, its been proven wrong for years. Every time a pro zerg dies to some harass or takes heavy damage you know the queen whine is bull. Just mark this as the troll thread that it is and move on.

Pretty sure Ace would like to see a Queen redesign also. Even so, if we continue down the road of 2:25 thirds and the current strength of queens enjoy the 2/3 proxy rax build for the foreseeable future. Something VichelChaos forgot to mention in his stats argument. The way that Innovation and Maru were able to scrape out wins against Solar.

Main thing isn’t balance. The games are boring. SC2 is boring.
It’s the same thing every game and Zerg is the only race that has a late game.
Therefore it’s always: Terran or Protoss all ins every game and Zerg always tries to outlast and conquer with their late game.
“We” didn’t do anything. YOU got over it. We still have Zergs crying constantly over the “6 GSLs” in a row (4 of which were from Maru during the most ridiculous period of Zerg dominance of all time).
Stop speaking in terms of groups. There’s not a group.

Zergs must share some burden for Protoss/Terran walls in the Natural. For each Pylon/GW/Depot that we build, zergs should shoulder 40% of the minerals.
The reason zerg is so strong is because people aren’t operating in the realm of reality. Living in La-La-Land, you can make anything true that you want to! They’ve decided they want the big bad zerg to be OP, so it is, and the facts be darned!
Lord Goba (pace all’anima sua) predicted that the moment whineterrans would get rid of protoss their whine would be concentrated on Zerg.

If that is the problem, which I completely respect, then what zerg needs are not outright nerfs but redesigns aimed at maintaining a similar power level. Almost everybody is proposing huge nerfs like limiting queens without giving back something to fight anti-air.
Zerg might be creating boring games, but they are not crushing anybody. Especially not terrans. That is what gets me irritated, it is the constant claims that for some reason terrans did not win this IEM because of zerg.
I’m all for redesigning zerg. I stated multiple times that I’d like a more “swarmy” feel, with less focus on casters and more focus on map control and masses of units. Also I’d love to be less reliant on queens. But at the moment I am not supporting outright crippling queens without giving back in return, especially not from the argument that TvZ is unwinnable if it is not done.
I also got tired of that, and I can’t recall when but I think it was me who reprimanded RBT after I got fed up with the GSL in a row argument. Its done. You know I’m not hasty to demand changes, when terran just had some of their best periods back to back demolishing zergs from GM, I was the one calling for prudence and to give it time to figure things out. And it happened, things were figured out and stabilized quite decently. Either way, regardless of who got over whatever period, the past patches should not directly dictate balance changes. Balance changes should be made for current patches, mainly because it is not logical to make changes for an iteration of the game that is different to the current iteration, with a different set of problems, results and variables.
My point is, I’m fine with some design changes, and if zerg ends up being in a weak spot for a while so be it, I’m not fine with nuking queens and calling it a day with the excuse of them being the main factor that stops terrans from winning.

Not about being in diamond league learn to read. Probably why nobody ever sees you or anyone in Psistorm gaming in any tournaments beyond making your own small scenes.
Good luck running damage control. The next patch will be here soon to nerf Zerg back into reality. Currently Zergs are so far in La-La land that they believe mass Queens arent broken! Blizzard will be here soon wielding the nerf bat to knock sense into the Zerg.
