You can, you just have to buff it in a way that it doesn’t impact that aspect of it. It’s like Shade with Adepts. It’s something you don’t change or don’t change upgrades to effect.

Voidrays are already getting a great change with the return of Flux. Carriers are indirectly getting buffed thanks to the Voidray and mothership changes.
The air unit that needs the most help is the Tempest.
I suggest trying hit-scan (no projectile, no overkill, try to use beam-artwork if you can) and about a 25% attack speed buff first, to see how that plays out.

Unfortunately, mods don’t allow enough text to keep a full changes list, and MyOhMind does not maintain a thread with the full list.
I’ve tried writing changes down in a mod before, and it is easy to run out of text with only about 5 changes or so.

I will be doing an oracle change sometime this weekend. It should really help Protoss with the new ZvP Meta.
Can I suggest changing the Tempest projectile animation to the Archon’s and making the projectile speed instant or very, very fast if the instant doesn’t show a flash of lightning?
If that’s not enough increase the attack speed slightly?
