That is what I’m likely going to do, the Tempest has such a slow fire rate because it originally had 22 range and how the ATG range used to be 15. They have been decreasing the range of the Tempest back to more reasonable ranges but they never changed the fire rate to go along with it.
I’d also really encourage trying out the instant or very fast projectile speed.
The tempest shoots giant capitol ship sized Frisbee at things. But can’t 1 shot a marine with them lol
I always thought that was dumb, which was why I suggested changing the animation to the Archon’s. Because The TEMPEST shooting energy frisbees is weird. Shooting lightning makes sense because it’s the TEMPEST. It’s mostly a thematic change to make the unit less dumb looking but it’s also a minor buff as it’ll be less inclined to overkill, which is important.
Just picture you as a person being hit with an entire sports stadium and surviving.

They were changed in the mod. Use them with your army. Ultralisk now push other units out of the way and cannot be pushed around by other units. No more pathing problems.
All it took was changing the Ultralisk push priority from 10 to 11
Just give Tempest the Dezintegration Blast and call it a day. The day when Infestors would use MS and the Tempest would counter with Dez-Blast would be hilarious.
Also for the cost and power Tempest should go to 4 supply and Void to 3 Supply. That would help the late-game Protoss.
I’m also thinking that. But it seems like the Tempest is suffering from what the Thor’s HIP had. High damage, slow slow fire rate.
They can fix that (Tempest and Adept suffer from that) by making the battlefield DPS approach (still not equal) to the paper DPS. Both units suffer from 5-45% loss of DPS from overkill.
A way is to use the remaining bolt strike the nearest enemy units (in a range 1-2).
Example: Tempest strikes with a 40 attack a 45 hp marine, the second shot will kill the Marine and the remaining ball of 40-5=35 damage will hit the nearest marine…
This will hugely help Tempests and Adepts without the need to increase their DPS.

They are to scare to break something and hesitant to make big changes, only once per year and how it goes, they leave it another year in the game broken. They are to scare to break something and hesitant to make big changes, only once per year and how it goes, they leave it another year in the game broken.
The changes in the mod are the exact opposite of “big”, and they work extremely well with gameplay and are balanced.

I think they will if they can see them and play them. The changes in gameplay are extremely refined and do exactly what they say they do.
TvP Mech is now viable(also the AAM splash bug is fixed).
TvZ Lurkers are viable
Ultralisk now have better pathing
Adepts now have more mid game utility that separates them from the Zealot.

News flash, they don’t even listen to them most of the time because they tend to be very biased because money is on the line. Also most pro’s don’t even know basic unit stats and get things wrong all the time. They know a lot about the game but at the same time they are as clueless as a bronze league about the game. Considering the natural-decay of the terran race player-base, Blizzard will again nerff Protoss and Zergs this coming January.
In order to retain the 50% winrate the only solution is to buff Terrans and nerff Protoss/Zerg.
Dr. Prof. Berserk will testify that if a patient (chronic-alchoolic) is denied booze, he risks going into (DT) Delirium-Tremens which is a serious matter in 24 to 48 hours.

Why would you want adepts increase their ats to 60% for 6 seconds, noone will use that, it is not better than 45. You will go just zealot. So you say you made mods, exactly with all of these changes before and they are implementing them ??
