Temporary Outage SC2 EU 16.02.25

Well, 2 days later (without trying - and without being able to open a ticket on the 18/2, the form kept saying “uploading”)

I just tested again and now I can access my EU account without further issue…

Finally i too was able to login onto eu server. Dont know what the issue was, but hopefully its resolved for everyone.

hey I have this bug as well, started today for no reason. I am playing on EU servers and I do not know how to fix it. tried to scan and repair, check for updates and even tried more things like to change something in files (I saw something in comments)

hope some1 here will aid me.

Here to report the same issue in NA on an old account that hasn’t played in years. Fresh installation so “offline” mode isn’t an option either as it requires the client to have made a previous connection.

Sucks that a great game doesn’t get basic support to even keep the lights on.

Same here, 5 years old account havent played for a while now come back and couldnt even login into any of the 3 servers EU US or KR. Have tried clearing cache, remove the game as well as Battlenet then reinstall. I gave up so I went to create a new account and get stuck at the puzzle to prove I am human, did 10/10 puzzles and the last screen told me I was not human, wtf or am an animal ? There is only 1 button to prove that I am human by doing the puzzle again and again
Whats going on

Same with me, just reinstalled after not having played for years, but I guess Blizzard decided they dont want my customership

Same thing here on EU servers, can’t play offline either since it’s been more than 30days

I just logged back into my account after 12 years. I have installed other games and am able to connect and play with no issues, but when I launch StarCraft II from the Battle.net launcher the splash screen loads and then I receive this message There is a temporary outage of the Battle.net service. Please try again later. When I click OK it brings up the log in screen, I type in my password and get the same message. In my account settings it shows that I purchased Starcraft II “Wings of Liberty” back on August 14th 2010. I have searched the forums for support on this and have tried adjusting my firewall settings and have even disabled my firewall with no success. I am in the US region and have tried to launch in EU and KR with no success. I am also not able to launch the game in offline mode because I have not successfully connected to the server yet.
***** UPDATE ***** When I click on Account Management at the bottom of the SCII login screen, my browser shows this message … “invalid.account.blizzard,com ’s DNS address could not be found. Diagnosing the problem.”

Same 4 me. I can get to play on EU servers but not Americas

Having the exact same issue here, US servers.

Same issue as everyone else. US servers. Tried the old “Spam the login” method. No dice. Blizz fix this, it’s been literally years…

Add me to the train. However I can’t login to any of the servers.

Same here - in US, tried without and with VPN. Cannot connect to US, EU, KR. Just wanted to play through the single-player campaigns and can’t.

I’ve already logged in to Battle.Net and installed it from there… why the single-player campaign is additionally locked behind server connectivity is beyond me.

You can get to offline play by disabling your internet connection and then running the game.

So… after attempting the offline trick myself. It crashed my game, but, when I tried again I could login normally. No clue what caused that but I’m not going to argue.

UPDATE I was able to log in after I uninstalled and then reinstalled StarCraft II, then I reset the game settings to default through the Battle.net loader for StarCraft II. At that point, I launched the game via the Battle.net loader and allowed the initial cut scent to play till the end and was able to log into StarCraft II game on the EN server. I have dropped 2 tickets to 2 different teams and neither have been responded to yet. I am not sure if this is a coincidence or not, but at this point the anecdotal evidence is substantial. Good luck to all who are suffering through this, I hope this post helps. My Original post on this issue.

I changed my dns from google’s 8.8.8.8 to cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 and I was able to login to americas

I did absolutely nothing but wake my PC up this morning and we’re in! Connected to the US servers!
