I have this issue as well. My account is from 2010 and I haven’t played for a few years.
I could authenticate to US and KR servers but not EU, and I’m from EU so I can not use my original profile.
Tried the bruteforcing, removing cache, disabling firewall, reinstalling, logging in and trying on another computer, connecting to US/KR servers then cancelling only to connect to EU again.
None of it has worked, I am stumped.
I have the same problem with EU servers. I hope it will be fix soon.
When I try to connect to US or KR it works…
But I have never played this game on those servers?
I continue to have the error when trying to connect to EU Server

Yep EU server same issue haven’t played for a few years i can create new accounts on US and KR but can’t connect to the original account there goes a nostalgia trip that i wanted. I remember when blizzard was standing as one of the juggernauts of gaming companies right next to Valve, Square Enix and so on but then Activision attacked.
Having this problem on EU too, can login to any other region just fine, disabled firewall, fresh install, reset router, even created a new account. server is just borked…

Same here still the same problem. Can’t login to EU but US works fine.
when you guys click play do you all wait, cause for me when it comes up to the cant connect part if you wait for like 30 secs with out touching anything, it eventually connects.
I’ve tried to connect for 3 days now, still outage, tried different regions too.
it would be nice to have it fixed… again
Haven’t played SC2 in many years. Decided to get back into to. Purchased Campaign collection. Can’t log in. Feelsbadman
(US works but not EU)
Another user (back after several months of inactivity in SC2)…
I reinstalled battlenet (after PC reinstall), I added the existing SC2 folder installed…
Battlenet did a small update (about 250MB)
I can’t connect to EU server… I can connect to US server…
I get the message “There is a temporary outage …”
Note : additionnally I got an SMS telling me “for security reasons your account has been locked” - I CAN log to battlenet and I CAN log to US SC2 server though ?!?

Me too! I have attempted methods i found on other articles like altering the host file, attempting to login several consecutive times, scanning and repairing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, deleting cache… None of it seemed to amount to anything. I can log into the US and KR servers but my coop commander levels are on eu servers, i’ve spent dozens of hours grinding to get their levels.
I also contacted support and they directed me to a thread about the same issue but older and locked. I love how the solution they highlighted was logging onto sc2 from another pc. Oh yeah, what an easy solution let me just buy a new pc.
