Same issue. Account is completely new, never played SC. Can connect to US servers, but not EU. I made a ticket, but they reply with general network troubleshooting which doesn’t help.
At least it’s not just me. The same story as everyone’s here. Account originated in EU, can log in into NA and KR servers, cannot authenticate into the EU one.
Tried disabling firewall, running as admin, logging into diff server, cancelling account setup and logging into EU, changing DNS to google, dns cache & flush, restarting router. Nothing.
I noticed this issue yesterday, when I wanted to log in after a 2 months break.
Same issue here, I can login to US and KR server but can’t login to EU server which is where I’m playing.
Same here. It can’t be a network/firewall/admin problem: my friends can log into their accounts on my machine and I can’t login to the game on their machines.

I’m having the same issue. I have a very old account (created around 2010) that I’m trying to log into for the first time in years. I keep getting the “temporary outage” error whenever I try to connect to the EU servers.
Ever thought we aren’t all having this screen ?
Same here… Jumping back into SC2 after a lot of years, thinking I could play through all campaigns again. Can’t log in.

Issue is still there.
Funny enough in November 2024 it was the other way around, US players could only connect to EU.
Cant LOGIN. Outage… Crazy
So they still charge 40 € for the game that you can’t even launch for days, good job Blizzard

Yes of course even though. The mode exists regardless of there being issues with the servers. The screen is gotten to through its own means.
That is literally not the case lmao, if you are a returning player without an existing save on your pc there is no option to play offline.
You don’t have to be an established player and you don’t need a previous save. “Literally not the case”? “Lmao”? Like the others it would behoove you to learn a little about what you’re going to speak on. Sc2 has an offline mode for everyone. It always has.
The support team sent me here and said that the problem would be discussed here and the community would work on a solution. But somehow I realise that there are only users here with the same problem.
Of course, before that they claimed it would help to reinstall the game, run a virus scan, etc…
What happened to the good support from Blizzard?

What you are suggesting is irrelevant to the problem. Almost everyone here has an existing progress on battlenet. Your suggestion however noble is of no use to us unless you are trying to play the single player campaign.

Could it be that you have quietly and secretly shut down the EU servers because only a few people are still playing? Are our accounts all gone?
Do you have any information on this?
