I am having this issue also. I noticed another part of the issue, I recently purchased the full version of the game during the black friday sale. Only the commander that was selected when this glitch happened is unlocked now. All the rest have reset to level 5 and are capped as if they are not purchased.
my first three commanders got level rest and capped at level 5 saying I have to buy the game, which is funny since I’m playing the game.
Same issue here, Raynor, kerrigan and artanis show as commanders to purchase. capped to lv 5. right now my acc is on lv 1000+
I got this issue too, my Raynor is stuck at max level 5 but my prestige is still working.
I have the same issue, i had james and artanis at 15, and james on prestige two. Kerrigan was around level ten, now all 3 are reset to five for me.
For anyone having problems with prestige were they selected prior to this issue? I had Raynor P1 on and it persisted.
I am in the exact same boat. It takes slightly longer to login, then a message asking to play offline come up for a moment, then it goes to the main screen. I’ve logged out of battlenet, restarted, everything I can think of to no avail. The OG 3 are maxed at 5 and cant progress.
Its been like this since yesterday.

I have the same issue… says it cant connect for a splint second then logged in iv tried logging in and out and restarting but raynor kerigan and artanis are all stuck at level 5… i had all three at level 15 with raynor and artanis with all talents and kerigan without any talents yet
Hello everyone! I am having the same problem with Starcraft as well. The three free to play commanders are all level locked at 5. My mastery is 89, but I don’t know what to do or how to fix it. I know my heroes where higher level than this. Please someone, help? When I log in it comes up with a screen that says, play offline or cancel. but then it loads all the way in to the main screen. Go to Co-op and all my commanders are locked to level 5.
It’s been this way since yesterday evening.
Same happened. The other morning 02/10 (CMT (-6)), around 9AM, playing Co-op, my Kerrigan character had just hit level 13 in 3rd prestige before logging and going to work; that evening at 20:30 my character is at exactly 5500/5500xp Level 5, capped despite having bought the game and expansions. The connection log also pops up every time I run the launcher for SCII: “Connecting to Servers” info window with “Play Offline” option.
Same problem. First 3 free commanders locked. Tried logging off and on. Tried scan and repair. So far not fixed.
is there a ETA of when our first 3 commanders will be able to be played at their proper level ?

My Raynor, Kerrigan, and Artemis are still at lvl5, they use to all lvl 15.
My Raynor and Artanis are both capped at 5, for no apparent reason. It’s only those two, which is weird. Has there been a fix to this yet?
Happened to me - and same “Play offline” option popping up before it logs in that is new to me - Iiwaenahari described same connection thing.

Mine also dropped from 15 to 5 and is capped at 5.
My brother had his raynor reset from 14 to 5 today. I can have him contact support if need be.
It started for me yesterday. I posted a complaint about it on here. But it seems that the devs would rather delete my comment, than try to fix it.
