These facts are not facts, you just see the results and make your opinion.APM and league,yes, apm and skill, no. Skill is based on the mmr, not the APM. If you don’t think that’s true, then just play faster and click more, you will notice that no matter what your speed is, what keeps you in your place is mechanics, not APM,only by improving your mechanics is how you improve your skill.
Different races with different forms of gameplay and production require different amount of APM, that’s all.

Exactly, so you have to factor out that part of APM.
The players are doing the same work, but one is “reporting” higher APM simply because of their race or composition.

That’s a correlation, not a causation.
This case is not a difference in requirements. The players are both doing the same work; but it is reported as more work for one player over the other. That’s why you have to factor production inflation out to get an accurate grasp of each player’s APM.

Being realistic about APM shows security - it is an acknowledgement that people who have more APM than you are quite likely better at the game - denying this shows insecurity.

Try 6 Marines versus 3 Zealots, or 3 Hellions versus 12 Zerglings.

No rule holds in “all scenarios”, rules are conditional by their very nature.
Production-based APM inflation is irrelevant and needs to be factored out when two players are using different factions or playstyles. This is explicitly because the different compositions will generate different amounts of APM inflation for similar strength/cost/supply armies; and this APM inflation is independent of player skill.
When two players are using or aiming for the same composition (I explicitly mean the same composition, since choosing a Hellion over two Marines is a compositional difference that will produce different amounts of APM), then the difference in APM may be relevant because it signifies an actual difference in macro between the players.

An increase of skill brings spontaneously an increase of APM, but the contrary is not true.
People can spam as much as they like their mous/keyboard reaching Serral-Level fo APM, hardly our troll would argue that they are as skilled as…Serral.
The troll sees a graph and interprets it upside-down. He has trouble grasping causation…
