yup same, not able to queue up a game in anything. people are saying some map got uploaded that was a virus and took everything down in the chat rooms

The author of this map has uploaded an infinite-length string filename to the title of his map (battlenet:://starcraft/map/1/281463); it’s caused Blizzard backend servers to crash upon parsing it.
It is hopeless to wait for moderators because it is weekend. Our only hope is to mass-report the map so that it gets auto-removed.
To report both the map + its uploader, copy-paste this battlenet link (battlenet:://starcraft/map/1/281463) into the in-game chat and then click on it. Then, click the small gear icon next to the map’s title, then “report map.”
He has repeatedly bragged about “single-handedly bringing the arcade down” and “owning the libs” on his personal Discord server. He has no remorse. Report him.

Due to the nature of them ending active support for SC2 long ago, it will likely be morning in California before they realize they have a problem, after that they assign someone to assess said problem and proceed from there

To the point that there are a lot of misleading links and information online, how could we independently verify what you’re saying and follow your advice? For example, how do we know you do not have malicious intent and reporting this map actually causes the problem to happen?

Same here, can’t play in ANY mode. In spanish says “no hay sitios de juego disponibles para iniciar la partida. vuelve a intentarlo más tarde”.

Just confirming that a computer restart for a windows update followed by a Scan & Repair did not fix the issue. Not that it was expected to, just leaving a note for anyone else looking around.
