#BalanceTeam Zerg Nerfs: Viper

1-2 Parasitic Bombs can completely mitigate an entire flight of Vikings. A single Parasitic Bomb can reduce Vikings to 15 HP. That’s one hit from a Corruptor, that the Vikings are supposed to counter. That means a single 3 Supply Viper mitigates almost any number of Vikings or Phoenixes, so long as the Viper(s) has air cover and is well microed. Unless the Vikings are repaired, they are dead weight.

  • Suggestion: nerf Parasitic Bomb from 120 damage to 60 damage, reduce energy cost from 125 to 100, so Terran and Protoss players have a meaningful choice of fighting or fleeing. Presently, if the Terran or Protoss units fight, they take so much damage that they’re crippled for the next wave of Zerg air units.

Abduct is absolutely ridiculous. It is a cost free harassment, when combined with Neural Parasite, gives Zerg armies far too much control over enemy units at far too low of a cost.

  • Suggestion: increase Abduct energy cost from 75 to 100 OR Does not work against Massive.

Vikings have the easiest counter to parabomb.
Land.
Other then that, split off the two targetted vikings. Win.
I swear, everything is op according to you

Oh, land… meaning the Terran gives up the air. What exactly does the Protoss player do with his Vikings, spud?

Show me a match where a pro-Terran lands his Vikings to get out of Parasitic Bomb… or show me a pro match where air Terran wins against a Viper/Corruptor build Zerg. In what universe is a landed Viking useful against a Zerg army, spud?

Parasitic bomb is supposed to counter mass air units for one.

For 2 both terran and zerg have answers to energy based units.
For 3, i love how you ignored the "split off the targetted unit.

Terrans have landed the affected unit in games multiple times to negate parabomb. Im at work and dont have time to youtube. Sorry you suck
Try again baddy

I’ll wait for you to show me a pro-match where this is the case. Go ahead. I love these metal league Zergs who think they know better than top tier Terran pros.

Its happened before many times. Too bad I’m at work with no access to youtube. Otherwise id throw enough evidence at you to make you an even bigger laughing stock then you already are

Yeah, sure it has.

Tell me, spaz… if Terran and Zerg air are fighting… and the Vikings land to avoid PB… what’s happening to the BCs or Ravens that they were defending? In WHAT UNIVERSE is saving your cheap Vikings the call, leaving your expensive BCs and Ravens (or just your Medivacs) alone with the Corruptors?

I’ll wait.

You dont land the entire flock. You land the targetted unit and move away. GG.

Oh do you?
“Radius: 3”

So you take some damage. Still better then taking the full duration of damage no?

Yes, landing the infected viking happens frequently. Hell, even I do it and I’m a diamond pleb.

Thank you so much for that

In REALITY, what happens is the Terran player boxes Vikings away from the affected Viking, flies the affected Viking away… Damage is done to ALL of the Vikings… And if there’s more than one Parasitic Bomb (there usually is), the Terran player has to do this for EACH Parasitic Bomb… All Vikings are taking damage while they are in PB. In reality, by the time the Terran gets to the third target, MOST of the damage has been done.

Meanwhile, while units are moving or spreading… they are on a MOVE command… which means they are taking damage FOR FREE.

Zergboi here thinks “this is fine”.

Great! Now show me that it’s done by pro Terrans (and their army doesn’t get destroyed in the air)…

For a guy who asks for evidence all the time, you never provide your own.

Which has nothing to do with parasitic bomb. I also like how you dont post anything during the era of terran gsl dominance.

LOL You mean I don’t post anything from prior to Legacy of the Void? LOL Spaz.

What have I said that isn’t FACTUAL?

Umm terran gsl dominance was during lotv.

Your linking zerg dominance to parabomb. Which isnt the case
