So far the biggest surprise I am seeing is Mistakes getting released from Uprising, with Team Russia also being eliminated from the World Cup, it will be curious to see where he goes from here.

I cant wait for the teams to sign overhyped players from contenders just to realize that their old players were better.

Mistakes carried tbh i think it was a huge mistake to release him

he did well in the playoffs but he was pretty average or even below average through out the season

Why would they release Mistakes? He and Striker just needed to play together more, their teamwork was already growing.

The London Spitfire has a new coach. London Spitfire Welcome Kwangbok Kim - Article Meta Data | London Spitfire

Yep just woke up and got it updated. Thanks for the tip!

Happy Tuesday everyone, got Texas-sized news today!

So far today word is out that Houston Outlaws are moving Clockwork and Mendo into non-player positions within their organization, and Dallas Fuel re-signs seven of their players onto the player roster, Cocco moves into an assistant coach position, and Chipshajen has been released.

Overwatch League’s official website now has a Trade Tracker article they launched a couple of hours ago which you can find here:

That being said I will still maintain this topic as best as I can, so any discussion may be discussed.

I also apologize that I missed the tweet on September 2nd from Seoul Dynasty about the release of three of their players.

No new team roster updates this morning, but Overwatch Contenders’ official website has released key important information about player signings into Overwatch League.

What are the chances that Uprising signs Shadowburn to replace Mistakes? Would he fit on the team as the second DPS?

Articles from ESPN are reporting the following cities to get official Overwatch League teams:

  • Paris, France
  • Washington D.C., United States
  • Hangzhou, China
  • Chengdu, China
  • Vancouver, Canada

With the addition of the confirmed Atlanta and Guangzhou teams, and the earlier reported Toronto teams, that now bring the team count to 20.

I think teams have learned a lot from season 1.

They don’t need 12 players. Sweet spots seems to be 2-3 players on the bench max.

Tanks and Support first and foremost, I think a lot of attention was put on DPS at the start of the season, but good DPS without a solid tank duo will struggle.

Flexible players much more important than specialist(one tricks). Teams that were able to adapt ended up more successful in the end. Both adapting to a new meta, but also in game.

I’m looking forward to see where season will take us. Rumors is 8 new teams, and a lot of roster changes on current teams. Season 2 will be very different.

Please note starting this year, Overwatch League is mandating a minimum 8 player roster for each team.

funny how they said “season 2 will be more EU friendly”

There was never any official word about guaranteeing more European teams outside of Paris. Unless you have any source about this.

It technically is unless France is not part of the EU. Lul.
