Recently there were threads about people in AU getting higher ping with certain companies. This was eventually fixed and ping returned to normal, this is the same issue coming back as once again i am getting 180 ping compared to my usual 30. I am pretty sure this is the same issue as before but i dont know what to really do.
Edit: okay im LAX1 and i am on iinet, my friend is with telstra and is on Syd2.
Edit 2: now onto PSEL and still bad connection
i don’t think its providers this time im in nz and was just talking to other aussie/nz players in another forum and were all connecting to lax1, think the servers are bugging out hard
Yes but people with certain providers appear to be connecting to LAX1 over other people on different providers
Yeah, I remember like a month or two back that iinet and internode people had a lot of problems for a couple of days. I’m with internode and it’s happening again.
But I’m computer illiterate, so I’ve got no idea.
Iinet and internode have had this problem before which sucks
it just sucks and with 40 million players i would’ve thought they would just make a oceanic server by now
I’m on internode and its putting me in the Singapore (PSE1) server.
Ping from me to lax1 (NA W) and pse1 (SEA) is almost identical. I can certainly see people ending up on either one. Aussies especially would probably end up on pse1.
I have the same issue and am on iiNet as well.
Usually get 30-40 ms, but now I’m getting 170 ms.

Can’t connect to a game on AU (Usual 70)
Playing with friend from Sydney, -Currently in a game (30 ping usually, and now)
If I get into a game queued with him, I WILL NOT JOIN THE GAME and I will lose SR.
If I play SOLO, I will get a game with people from USW
