TANK

Orisa (Nerf)

  • General
    • Armor decreased to 100, base HP increased to 300 (from 200 base HP, 200 Armor)
  • Protective barrier
    • Cooldown increased to 10 seconds (from 9 seconds)
  • Halt!
    • Radius decreased to 6 meters (from 7 meters)
  • Fortify
    • Damage reduction lowered to 25% (from 50%)
    • For the duration, base HP is changed to armor

Bastion (Rework)
(I saw an awesome reddit post suggesting these changes for Bastion, I do not take credit for them.)

  • General
    • Moved to Tank category
    • HP increased to 400 (200 base HP, 200 Armor)
  • Configuration: Sentry
    • Similar to spread, Bastion’s rate of fire starts at 15 per second and scales up to 30 per second over the next 2 seconds
  • New ability: Flash shutter
    • Bastion puts up a barrier to protect himself from incoming damage/CC.
    • Cooldown: 4 seconds
    • Duration: 0.7 seconds

Doomfist (Rework)

  • General
    • Moved to Tank category
    • HP increased to 400 (from 250)
  • Hand cannon
    • Rate of fire decreased to 1 shot per 0.4 seconds (from 0.32 seconds)
  • Rocket punch
    • Maximum travel distance decreased to 15 meters (from 20 meters)
    • Maximum wall impact damage decreased to 100 (from 150)
  • Seismic slam
    • Cooldown increased to 7 seconds (from 6 seconds)
  • Uppercut
    • Cooldown increased to 7 seconds (from 6 seconds)
  • Meteor strike
    • Inner ring radius increased to 3 meters (from 2 meters)
  • The best defense..
    • Shield gain decreased to 20 per ability hit (from 35 shields)
    • Now applies to primary fire
      • 1 shield per pellet landed (11 shields if Doomfist lands all 11 pellets on a target)
    • Maximum shields decreased to 100 (from 150 shields)
    • Shields are removed if Doomfist doesn’t take damage in the next 10 seconds after his shield status is updated

Zarya (buff)

  • Graviton surge
    • Radius increased to 8 meters (from 6 meters)

Sombra (Buff)

    • Duration increased to 6 seconds (from 5 seconds)
  • EMP
    • Cast time decreased to 0.2 seconds (from 0.35 seconds)

McCree (Nerf)

  • Flashbang
    • Updated visuals to match the radius
    • Stun duration decreased to 0.55 seconds (from 0.7 seconds)

  • Widow’s kiss
    • Time to fully charge increased to 1.6 seconds (from 1.4 seconds)

Hanzo (Nerf)

  • Storm arrows
    • No longer able to headshot
    • Damage increased to 80 (from 70 damage)

SUPPORT

Ana (Nerf)

  • Biotic grenade
    • Healing received on enemy targets decreased to 50% (from 100%)
    • The further an enemy target is from splash impact point, the less damage is dealt
      • 60 damage at less than 1 meter away from explosion, 30 damage at the maximum distance (from constant 60 damage)

Moira (Nerf)

  • Biotic grasp
    • Lingering effect duration decreased to 3 seconds (from 4 seconds)
    • Lingering effect healing decreased to 50 (from 65 healing)

Brigitte (Buff)

  • Barrier shield
    • HP increased to 300 (from 200)
  • Shield bash
    • Stun duration increased to 0.9 seconds (from 0.75 seconds)
    • Damage increased to 50 (from 5 damage)
  • Whip shot
    • Cooldown increased to 5 seconds (from 4 seconds)
  • Rally
    • Radius increased to 10 meters (from 8 meters)
    • Cost increased by 5%

Lúcio (Adjust)

  • Wall ride
    • Movement speed decreased to 30% (from 40%)
  • Crossfade
    • Cast time decreased to 0.65 seconds (from 0.8 seconds)
    • Movement speed buff increased to 30% (from 20%)
    • Radius decreased to 10 meters (from 12 meters)

Mercy (Rework)

  • New ability: Overcharge
    • Replaces Resurrect in base kit
    • Activate to increase healing per second to 80
    • Cooldown is initiated once duration ends
    • Duration: 3 seconds
    • Cooldown: 10 seconds
  • Resurrect
    • Replaces Overcharge during Valkyrie
    • Cooldown reduced to 0
    • Movement speed during Resurrect increased by 50%
  • Valkyrie
    • Provides 2 Resurrect charges
    • Cost increased by 10%

If EVERYTHING else in his kit remains the same as it is right now, he’d be OPAF.
Okay, the Rocket Punch distance cut could hurt him, but he’d still be ridiculously powerful.
They’re already calling him a flying one-shot tank. This rework would turn him into a real one.

Doomfist is mostly fine as he is right now, it’s just the meta that enables him and the fact that his counters are so horrifically bad right now because of the Double Shield.
If he’s still over-performing after Double Shield dies, I would love to see a nerf to either his shields or to his Rocket Punch.
Just don’t touch the travel distance, I don’t care how much lethality it looses as long as it can still one-shot tracer.

Put Leap on a much higher cooldown as well and he’d be “perfect”.

Any Widow nerfs are welcome, thou I’d rather see a nerf to her mobility.

Finally, somebody who acknowledges that Biotic Grenade needs a nerf!

The damage increase of Shield Bash would be too much, I’d honestly just give her back the ability to stun through enemy shields.

Also, I saw a post that suggested that her Repair Pack cleanses Anti-Nade by simply providing armor to anti-naded targets. That could be a nice change as well.

I saw Moira and Orisa nerfs and left the thread.

They not even the problem. Doomfist however is but doesn’t need to be a tank.

Have you even bothered to try these ideas on workshop btw? Cause I highly doubt so.

And even these are the ‘‘dream patch notes’’ These are actually pretty bad. Specially those nerf ideas.

You honestly believe that Doomfist is the problem and not the two busted shield tanks?
Doomfist got some of the most devastating nerfs last year during the winter wonderland event and got 1 second off of two abilities and some bug fixes as compensation.
Meanwhile, Orisa was constantly buffed during the reign of GOATS, while pretty much every other tank was nerfed (Except Winston and Roadhog).

You’re also bias since you got 6 hours on Doomfist already this season…

Okay… let’s say they nerf Doomfist into the ground, what are you going to play against Orisa+Sigma? Soldier/McCree and just shoot the barriers down?

he got a major buff that basically made his other nerfs useless recently but all of you keep forgetting to mention that. Oh well :man_shrugging: the bias
ps i think orisa needs to get nerfed sigma no because he is new and everybody is still getting used to him

With doomfist role as the game is now, he’s more of a tank than a dps, so I’m balancing accordingly.

Leap does basically nothing. A laughable double jump. I didn’t want to nerf him too much but I don’t mind a higher cooldown.

It really does. A random nade from spawn can decide a teamfight, it’s really too annoying.

With just a 50% healing reduction it makes more sense, since it increases healing received for allies by 50% and I don’t like imperfections.

Barrier HP and damage buffs are nice, but the increased stun is a little too much.

whip shot doesn’t need a cooldown nerf, 300 shield health is still a lot lower than her 500 pre rework health and so it may not be enough health to allow her to trigger inspire through her melee enough.

I don’t agree with the rally changes, the problem isn’t the ultimate duration. Now that armour is no longer a problem (GOATs), she can afford to have permanent armour instead.

What buff are you referring to exactly? All that Doomfist got was a cooldown reduction to Uppercut and Seismic Slam.
And if you’re talking about the changes to “Boop” related abilities, the only ability that got truly affected by it was Rocket Punch.
The CC on both Seismic Slam and Uppercut is basically non-existing, they’re no better than Lucio’s boop.

That could have been done better, tbh. His passive just needs to be tweaked a bit.

That’s not exactly true. It does more than you can imagine. The fact that he got a tank-shredding ability alongside a mobility ability on a low-cooldown is what busted him to begin with.
Giving Hanzo an easy way to evade up-close encounters with characters such as Winston messed up his balance.

Agreed. The worst part is that there’s almost zero counterplay against it. Once you’re hit by it, you can only be saved by a Zarya bubble.

And Brigitte wasn’t exactly balanced back then. Tracer got enough to worry about, let’s not give all Tracer mains ptsd again.

Yeah, that is a massive sledge hammer nerf for Mercy. And all of that for what? 60 HP/s and a better beam on Valkyrie? No thanks.

The flaw of your “adjustment” on Mercy is removing the chain beam. The duration nerf’s makes sense for the 60 HP/s, but that’s it.

Removing the chain beam for a better beam effect is a sledge hammer nerf because you literally nerf her healing potential from 300 HP/s to 75 HP/s and nerf her damage boosting potential from 150% damage boost to 35% damage boost. Not to mention you nerf her regeneration, which is too much.

It’ll make much more sense if her base healing is buffed to 60 HP/s but decrease Valkyrie duration to 12 seconds and remove chain beam but buff the beam effect to 150 HP/s healing and 50% damage boost. It is so much better that way.

The only thing Tracer had to worry about was Brig and McCree, those two were the only ones that could reliably kill her. Brig also enabled a very special meta that now isn’t possible, so why not revert that.

Maybe you’re right, I didn’t think that one through.

If you’re interested, I did some other changes to Mercy in the workshop

Remember when Valk lasted for 20 seconds, did 60hps and she could rez 3-4 people with no slow or cast time LOL

Yes, what about it?

I had a few ideas…
*Decrease from 35 shields per hit to 30 shields per hit.
*Shields decay 5 per second, instead of 3

*Seismic Slam, since it can hit multiple enemies, now only generates 25 shields per target hit.
-Uppercut, can hit multiple enemies as well, but that’s rarer done, so it stays the same.
-Rocket Punch now provides 40 shields 20 when hitting the target +20 when the target impacts a wall

Brigitte also killed a very special meta that now isn’t possible, at least in a effective form.
Dive
Blizzard should look at her defensive and healing capabilities, not her offensive ones.

There is a bias here. By the way this is a way to delete orisa, ruin Moira. Not necessary dream patch notes. Some of these don’t even need changes.
