Your feels and roleplaying don’t matter, what matters is that the game is actually good to play and, right now, rez is trash and not worth the effort.

I find rez to be a very strong and useful power, iconic to Mercy

You all need to get out of the extremely trash tier, it’s the only way to understand what I’m saying.

If they ever rework Mercy to remove her Rez, then as compensation, she should be given the ability to turn her enemies into chickens. Preferably as an ult: so she can potentially turn all of her opponents into chickens (like Mass Res). I could also live with a version that keeps Valkyrie and replaces single rez with “Angry Chicken: Mercy transforms herself into a (player-controlled) chicken, gaining extra movement speed and the ability to detonate in a large, deadly explosion that also restores Mercy to her human self” on a 30-sec cooldown.

Dodo is famous for taking metaphoric phrases literally. The guy either lives under a rock and doesn’t know how people talk/use phrases or he’s a troll. Since in this day and age you can’t be living under a rock and also play OW/use forums at the same time, the latter case is going on.
Watch how he’ll respond to me, saying something along the lines “I have never acted in a manner that you call a troll or have any intention to act like that whatsoever”.
I actually find it hilarious, the guy has found the best way to rile up mercy mains and everyone is getting baited.

I play mercy all the time, she is my go to for support which I have been playing more and more now after the proposed changes and I feel my game enjoying has gone up 2 fold. She is fun but she is also very vulnerable to certain mechanics that she has no get away from now they took away the Super Jump ability. I know Mercy haters are going to hate on me but come on, she needs something other than being an easy target for certain Heroes.

A player can choose to have her stand still, but I personally wouldnt recommend this under most circumstances

The movement reduction is part of the balancing of an ability that is imo the single most powerful cooldown ability in the game

I personally do enjoy the challenge of pulling off a successful rez, just as I enjoy completing a game on the highest level of difficulty more than I do completing it on the easiest level. YMMV.
