So, how is Reinhardt coming along? Considering he has more bugs now.
I think that it has something to do with Wrecking Ballās shell casings, they take a couple seconds to despawn.
I did see that was an issue on the PTR, thought they patched it though.
Your guess is correct, activating the ability will take you to where the beacon was at that time, but you still visually see the beacon travel for a bit. Thereās definitely an intention to clean it up!
Weāre aware of the reports and a fix is already up on PTR.
It isnāt intended for speed boost abilities to automatically break hack.
YES!
Thanks so much for responding, that was making her almost unberable to play for me but seeing confirmation on a fix is fantastic!
I know it has been mentioned before, but I think it is time for a PTR for consoles. It is great that a fix for the Sombra hack is already on PTR, but console users will have to wait for the live release to find out if it actually worksā¦
Hi Tom, really thanks for the updates!
Iāve run into another bug yesterday in a game, I could reproduce it. Iām pretty sure it is connected to reducing the size of the TP.
Here is the evidence:

Would be nice if OP could add it to the list or a level 3 user could repost it.
It is 100% reproducable that the TP falls through that tiny gap.
Whatās not reproducable is that sometimes you can TP down there and you are stuck below the planks on a little rail or so, while other times it teleports you but you stay on top of the planks. I guess thatās based on where the TP exactly lands.
Thanks in advance to everyone making it visible or solving it.
Thanks! I edited the main post and added your gif and another couple of examples of a similar problem from Fitztyās streams.
Does anyone know if itās intended that when Zarya Bubbles an invisible Sombra the effect is visible to the enemy team? Or is this a bug?
Itās pretty troll on the Zaryaās part, and can result in death of the Sombra if sheās in the enemy backline.
Woah, this is crazy. Thank you so much for your response.
Thanks for revisiting (again!) and explaining these things to us.
My concern regarding Sombra trailing behind her translocator is specifically about mid-air translocation. In this video, it seems really obvious that she didnāt even translocate to where the beacon was when she activated it - she still translocated behind it by a good amount:
My other concern is:
That currently happens. Doomfist using Seismic slam, uppercut, or sometimes rocket punch breaks it. Tracer using Blink breaks it, even when she remains in LoS. Genji using Swift Strike breaks it, even when he remains in LoS. Can you confirm if this is a known issue, or if it still requires investigation?
Youāre watching from someone elseās perspective. You canāt even see when she activated it, let alone how much latency affected the visual position of the projectile for other players, so I donāt understand how you would draw the conclusion that thatās the wrong location.
He just responded to it directly, so if the issue exists, itās clearly a known issue now.
Well, yeah, someone elseās perspective is useful considering you donāt have the same clarity of where you land in relation to your translocator as Sombra.
I didnāt draw any conclusions. I spoke what my concern is and am asking for clarificationā¦
But he already explained how it works. Your post simply stated that it āseems really obviousā that his explanation is wrong, which I donāt think is an accurate assessment from the video.
ā¦I donāt understand. I never said that.
I said specifically, āIn this videoā
In order:
- I expressed that I have concerns about what he explained
- I cited what is seen specifically in the video
- I made no assumptions of whether or not what he said was true or false
He even said:
Iām asking for clarification on something. Thatās not wrong. I donāt understand why you felt the need to question it?
Just trying to clarify it more quickly by referring you to the response he already provided.
Since you are talking about Sombra. First, thank you for addressing the status on her bugs. But I wanted to get your thoughts on something. Her mid fight presence is her weakest spot and has been as long as I can remember. I was wondering if you ever considered speeding up her reload so that she has more uptime in a fight? I get that she is a disruptor and like you guys stated, the invis will help her flank targets, but she still suffers from the problem of not being able to follow up on her attacks. A zen orb pretty much negates all of her damage since the only way to out pace the healing is to either has near perfect accuracy or to stack headshots. Mercy destroys her damage. I can shoot people and watch their health increase instead of decrease when a mercy is pocketing them. The same goes for almost all healers. They all outpace her ability to damage unless you are an exceptional tracker. I donāt think she needs the highest damage, but she does need to be able to kill something on her own or atleast have the chance to finish off a kill before a healer can help too much. But as of now, she has one of the lowest effective damages in the game and needs to be well above average at tracking to even somewhat compete against everyone else. Also, having a slow reload ontop of low damage affects her more than anyone in the game (beside maybe Orisa) Anyway, I just wanted to get your thoughts since it seemed like you were answering sombra questions.
Nice one! This isnāt related to Sombra, but is it possible to get a statement of the Rein changes that went live the other day? Are all of them supposed to work like that?
This isnāt done because it takes forever to get updates through microsoft, and sony. It has to be checked beforehand. Blizz can monitor their own servers when on PC. This allows for faster updates.
I still experience the bug where hack brakes for apparently no reason on a regular basis -.-
Tom i got a question, if youre reading this. You guys did revert Genjis vertical hitbox on deflect once because it caused a bug in which it made it possible to headshot him through deflect. So making the ability more consistent aand bug free had priority over visual accuracy and possible balancing issues.
Why not do the same for Sombra?
