Yeah, it’s a bug. And no, Blizzard haven’t commented or fixed it yet.

Me and my 2 friends can’t queue comp lucio ball together in placements even though we all finished masters last year and we want to do well this year as well so Im wondering if this is intended or a glitch?
So, i suck at normals in this game, hover around low silver to high bronze. One of my friends is at 2400, within 1000 MMR of me. The other was placed 2900 back in season 3 and hasn’t been placed since. We always play lucio ball and placed 3100 range in it last year. Now i login and can’t play with them because skill level is too far apart. Incredibly disappointed with blizzard on this one. Lucio ball is probably my favorite thing about this game.
Last season Comp Lucio Ball ranks were 3529 and 3629 , current Comp Season SR is 3306 and 3579 respectively
When we try and queue it says SR is too far apart???
i can’t play copa lucioball with my 3 friends, last year with lucioball we were within 100 sr and we can play normal comp
My friend and I can not queue for Competitive Lucioball together. Last season we played every game together and both ended at 3450. We have played regular lucioball together every match since the patch and neither have done any placements. We can queue for regular comp together as we are both around the 3400-3600 range. We are on Xbox. Is this a known issue? Any info helps!

Right now I can’t play with my friends Copa Lucio ball It says our skill level is too far apart but we don’t have any sr for this season yet and last year we all where around 2900 2800 any idea why this happens
My friend and I can queue up for ranked together and our Copa Lucio Ball ranks last year were about the same. However, when we tried to queue up together today, the game said “The Skill Level of Your Group Members Is Too Far Apart.” Is this a bug or are we not allowed to queue up?
Even if we’re in the 500 SR Range (Im 4k and he is 3,6k). If you look in “Tier List” it says “Can queue within 500 Skill Rating” for GM and Master.

I would like to know how squads are working in this game mode.
I wanted to queue with my friends, when we saw that our Sr were disparate, but we were all in placement matchs and we were all around diamond in 2017, so we don’t understand why we can’t play together.
But the thing that most surprised me were when I stayed with 2 guys after a competitive match, we played together as soloqueue and after the match we decided to stay as a team, but we were unable to start an other game…
Friends can’t get group up to play Copa Lucioball. Getting message stating “The Skill level of your group is too far apart” We are exact same SR and can even play regular competitive games together. Too far apart messagebis bogus. Any known issue for this issue exactly? Not the ban issue.
I wanted to play games with my friends but we were too far apart, but we both happened to love lucioball. All we wanted was a game with decent competition so we decided to play Copa lucioball. It was a blast! That was last year. Now, you messed it up by adding an sr restriction that doesn’t even belong in the arcade. Lucioball was the reason I came back but now I have no reason to stay. I hope u get your minds straight soon bc this is aggravating a lot of people. Good bye and good luck.
My friends and I want to three stack in Lucio ball comp but we aren’t able to for some reason even though we can queue for regular comp.
Hey everyone. Just posting as me and my friends have been eagerly waiting to play Lucioball this season, however when going to go into the competitive version of it we are advised that “Our Members Skill Levels are Too Far Apart”.
For the Copa Lucioball event last year, the three of us all played our placements and the rest of our games together; and therefore our first season of Lucioball we would all be around the same rank in Diamond. I am unsure as to why we can’t group together, as our Luc…
There is literally no reason we shouldn’t be able to queue, all within queue range last year of lucioball, all within queue range for actual comp, please fix this bug…

If Me, Friend 2, and Friend 3 group up it denies.
We can’t figure out what could be causing this. All of us also have not played Normal Competitive mode in a couple seasons, so it’s not like last year’s bug where it’s related to the present season rank. Additionally, we are able to play normal Overwatch Competitive mode as a group, but not Copa Lucioball. All friends are last diamond rank in Competitive OW (3000SR due to degredation), and my last SR in it was Gold (2156).
I hope they resolve this soon as I feel having restrictions placed on a game mode by a completely different game mode is a valid bug that should be resolved and also does not provide enough information to resolve the issue from the user standpoint
