Basically Bogus Bastion Bias 😢

That’s pretty much the gist of it. I don’t understand how they could fix him without significantly rebalancing the power of his kit. Right now he’s like nerf gun with legs, or minigun cemented into the ground. Pretty much no inbetween

In my limited experience on him:

• too team reliant to survive on him, even with self-repair
• Recon just feels like a means to an end, that end being to relocate & set-up Sentry
• being unable to self-repair while firing weapons feels really bad, especially in Sentry

Personally, I’d like to see:

• him able to multi-task repairs & dealing damage simultaneously
• have a “tag enemy” or proximity sensor he can deploy while in Recon (which stands for reconnaissance: the military observation of a region to locate an enemy or ascertain strategic features )
• meme or not, putting Tank on ability and making ULT: Heli Mode would be siiick

In light of all of these replies, i would like to present my latest list of changes that i think would make the hero playable again, not as any form of self advertisement, no… but as a bump to get the ball rolling again for feedback (Here) About the hero… and to consider that he just needs to be strong again.

Bastion needs a fix ASAP

Just to get this ball rolling again…

Changes that have been suggested:

• Headshots enabled in Sentry Mode.
• Spread tightened in Sentry Mode.
• Ammo lowered to 150 ( Or even as low as 100 ) In Sentry Mode.
• A personal shield is added to Sentry Mode, facing wherever the Bastion is looking, at a health of 300-500 or in that range. And only regenerates while out of Sentry Mode.
• Ironclad removed or completely reworked.

And on top of that, allow me to add in one of the more important changes:

• Configuration: Tank is now another configuration, with lower damage rocket/shells, and is always accessible in the same fashion as Configuration: Sentry.
• New Ultimate : “Overclocked” Now strengthens Bastion in all configurations , causing Bastion to glow a hot red in similar fashion to Torbjorn’s ability ( Or Torbjorn’s original ultimate ) Dealing higher damage and having either lowered or zero reload time in any configuration for the duration of the ultimate.

This gives Bastion not only the “Mobility” People seem desperate to ask for, but utility, and versatility in combat, as a machine that can adapt to the situation at hand.

Hammond doesn’t when in his rolling form, and Bastion’s hitbox is just as large.

i feel like he should be able to choose depending on the situation what’s better.

This is a BIG thing for me… every configuration should have a use.

And i’ll even add, to my “Overclocked” Description, perhaps he should have a speed boost in Recon/Tank?

If I play DPS, which is unicorn status for me, I just pick Sombra to counter Bastion. Unless the Bastion has both support and at least a single tank playing to keep the Bastion alive, its game over for the Bastion player.

As for this… even most Tanks directly counter him nowadays…
