He now dosen’t want to speak to me. xD
I want to playing with someone something…

I spent like 2 years looking for one of the Adult Swim bumps. It was the baggage room by Flying Lotus. He’s is now one of my favorite artists.

Thanks for explaining.
I have no clue how this game works…

The game is a rythymic rougelike where actions are linked to the beat of the music playing in the background.

You basically move to the beat of the song, there’s no other way unless a certain item was found or a certain character is played.

So almost like turn-based, only one turn is one beat?

Yes, one action per beat.

Beat rate is different for each song.

Some are 2 beats per second.

Some 3.4 per second.

Other is 6.8 per second…

Powerhouse in TF2 be like:

During only FIRST round, what was for almost hour

We finished first round, finally.

And the end.

This is why I hate Powerhouse, it takes ages to finish.

And that’s why I love it!

I would rather play 2fort and let it last for 3 hours than touching powerhouse.

3 hours of 2Fort?!
Omg, that’s weird.

Less weirder than Powerhouse.

In Powerhouse I am always active. Fights go all time!

Can’t say same about 2fort. All time I play there, I see passive playing.

Meh.

Been playing so much recently I’m hearing the ping sound effect even when I’m not on my computer. Ding!

If this is true I’ll give it a hard pass but will gladly watch someone else play it

Compared to powerhouse, 2fort is fare more stalemate oriented. And this has to do with the placement of the objective.

In powerhouse, once you managed to break the defense (which can take a while, but in 2fort it can take equaly long as both have a single hallway that you are forced to pass), you can direcly aim for a capture, and like most CP maps, the last capture is fast.
In 2 fort, you are forced to walk twice through the defense, which due to the lengthy walk towards the intel can already have been rebuilded for a part.
1 advantage for powerhouse is that 2fort has a splitted spawnpoint which is slightly less optimal to take, but even then, they are still connected and a very effective flanking path towards attackers, and this again balances it out.

But even if the intel (or capture point itself) is defended, powerhouse has the advantage of giving the enemy the higher ground and lower ground. Higher ground allows for safe grenade spam which is very effective against camping. In 2 fort its all on the same level.
Sure, powerhouse can have more variety in its defense. So when the enemy is going for engy camping it can be more difficult to overthrow it. But it becomes very easy as soon as 3 nests got killed. 1 uber can be enough.
Compared to their engy usage of 6, you could expect 2 or 3 on your side. Thats 3 slots remaining for potential ubers.

Even in 6v6 powerhouse is generaly faster for finishing. And in the case of instaspawn, 2fort gets the issue amplified.

And even 3 hours on 2fort is nothing. I had witnessed a game where 1 round of hightower took 9 hours. (i joined during its 8th hour and i think i still had to play it like 80 minutes before there finaly was a victory, at the same time, looking at the scores none of the players played the full 9 hours, the highest score was somewhere between 400 and 600, and during my 80 minutes i did manage to get about 250 points)

So question for everyone here. This does involve the game I have talked about here before.

When playing a single player RPG how many times would you consider a dying acceptable for a boss before you beat it? Lets say a 1-2 minutes of set up and the fight takes the average player 10-15 minutes. The game will be turned based. For me i will take all attempts in the world and be fine. For example in Monster Hunter World Arch Tempered Nerg took me about 20-30 attempts without looking up on how to do it. Finally did it and felt good about that. I love trying to figure things out myself.

Also if you decided to do a hard mode of the game same question. How many times do you consider an acceptable amount of deaths for roughly a 10-15 minute fight?

Thank you to anyone that does replay to this.

I honestly can’t judge these things myself for me and my guild back in wow during MOP were crazy. Think it took us upwards around 250 attempts to kill Heroic Shen.

You are now implying that - at any point in time - there are more than a handful people in Hightower that even try to win.
It’s called tdm for a reason…
