Yes, you are absolutely right! Lag spikes happen precisely at 7 minute mark. Then it gradually gets better. But for straight 5 minutes it is very difficult to play.
Hey y’all,
Thanks for all the tests so far. The devs have some ideas for what’s up here so we don’t need those anymore. Going to edit that out of my old post.
Please feel free to keep reporting that it’s happening, when it happens, what else is going on, etc, but no need to submit more files. Figured I’d save y’all time.
Any new updates? Since patch I have been facing VERY frequent fps stutter (from 100 to zero) + lag spikes (ping jumps periodically from 40+ to 200-400, which causes graphics to freeze for 0.5 to 1 second each time). Basically can’t go thru 20 seconds without a stutter.
I’ve tried resetting graphics, lowering graphics and sound, drivers up to date. I have my dxdiag, winmtr, pathping, tracert and msinfo files ready to go if you are interested in more data to analyze.
Thanks.
Our community manager has provided an update on the Climate issue:
The weather effects have been removed from the game, and we provide more details on the thread provided above. We wanted to ensure that the performance issues caused by the weather effects have been addressed and back to normal for you all, is anyone still experiencing the performance issues within the game after these changes?
Any idea when this comes into effect? Just hopped into a match to try and the weather anomaly was still active. Even disconnected me at the end of the match to count for a loss.
