Damn, just bought m1pro Mac… only to learn that one of my favourite games isn’t working properly on it.

One year and it isn’t fixed?

it won’t be fixed, they do not care about hots mac community, i think they do not care about this game anymore, and i dunno why… proper marketing, good updates and it would be at the top. they just banished this game somehow

I’ve posted a reply under their latest tweet regarding the ptr update. I think it’s the best place to draw their attention.

Me too, we all should post a reply to their last tweet @BlizzHeroes

flooding right now, I’ve also tried to place a like on every other M1 post on the twitter thread. We need to speak loud if we want they to hear us.

Ober a year of this issue and no fix… this has to be something simple as the game is basically flawless on M1 EXCEPT for the range indicators, which kind of make the game unplayable. I know this game is in sustain mode, but kill the game if you’re not going to fix the extremely simple stuff a year later.

YUPP! I’ve been experiencing this since I jumped from my MacBookPro to my new M1 Mac Mini. Other performance is great… just make the game a little more challenging with I’m trying to remember where I put my oil… when I’m playing Blaze. Or you know… getting stunned by the immortals because I have know idea where it’s going to hit. You get a lot of undo…“NOOB” comments because of this issue.

The game is lucky to have bug fixes for Windows OS at this point. Mac OS support is completely abandoned for over one year now and I doubt they will ever use any resources for Mac OS client.

Blizzard has the resources because World of Warcraft is the exact opposite where it is actually one of the best optimized games for new Apple Silicon machines. They choose to not divert any amount of resources to Heroes. Mostly because WoW is a cash cow by comparison, between expansion packs and monthly subscriptions. Most people on Heroes spend very little if any money.

If you can update a huge 20+ year old MMO to run natively on Apple Silicon… you can definitely fix a simple layer issue with a much newer MOBA… but it just comes down to revenues generated.

Since I also suffer these problems on my M1 Max I’m trying a workaround.

I tried installing Windows 11 (ARM) on Parallels 17 to actually play the game in an OK manner. But did anybody else get this to work as a workaround? The game is not even starting and giving me this “Error occured starting Heroes of the Storm 2:-1073741819” error :frowning:

I just want to play the game during break with my Windows friends
