[Mac] Game crashes to desktop during loading screen

About 6h ago the game worked.

Right now I open battle net, click on the start hots button as usual. I get the splash screen, then an login screen for a split second, then crashed to desktop.

EDIT: SC2 works fine.

EDIT 2: Tried the same account that crashed in MacOs with a Win11 PC on the same network, and HOTS does run on it.

Yep, another here. Checked for updates, scanned system files, rebooted—nothing.

dangg it… been playing all week on my mac and now today cant make the game start! any solution beside going windows pc?

Same here! Did any of you update to latest Ventura Beta, maybe related?

I tried resetting caches and reinstalling. The video plays but then it crashes after the login screen.

I tried manually clearing, it gets to Loading screen and takes forever, but then crashes again.

With the lack of support this game is receiving i guess it’s time to say goodbye boys! Sadge

I have 2 different Macs I have been playing on for a long time, and both of them stopped working today as well. So yeh it looks like there’s nothing to do except hope that Blizzard tells us a work around or fixes something. I really hope this is not the end of Heroes on Mac!!

Diablo 3 is having similar issues on the mac. Something going on in Battle.net

It seems to be a Battle.net issue that is popping up in other games so I expect them to fix this
