I have the same problem on EU no heroes and every game mode is unplayable?
It says " You do not meet the required criteria to play ranked. This might be due to a temporary unavailability of the store"

Hi folks,

The same error from yesterday. I tried uninstall the game, update graphics drivers and windows, del my user profile on my computer but nothing works.

Appears that the problem are ours account/profile of the HoTS.

Waiting for a solution.

Same issue here.
So far I’ve tried:

  • turning the pc on and off,
  • switching router on and off,
  • changing dns,
  • running ipconfig/release followed by /renew,
  • clearing cache,
  • reseting all the game settings,
  • running scan and repair
  • turning off the firewall to see if it blocks the connection to the shop/hero data
  • removing /Documents/Heroes of the Storm/Variables.txt
  • waiting one day to see if the issue is resolved

but nothing seems to fix the “selected hero is not valid” problem.
I also tried to enter on US servers and it is working without issue there, but on EU I can’t access any of my heroes or the shop.

I’ve had the same issue.
First login in 3 days (to complete daily reward quests), all game modes unavailable.
No gold/shards/gems visible. Real money purchases disabled. Unlocking disabled.
Only game mode clickable is ARAM but that says invalid request. AI and QM modes show no hero selected and no option to change selection.
Ranked says (similar to OP) unmet requirements and suggests that unlocking may be unavailable in the shop.
Tried second account and that works fine, but that doesn’t have ranked placement games yet.
Hope they fix this soon.

Same problem - currencies have no number next to them in the main menu, no character on screen and can’t be selected.

Collection is empty with “Unlocking temporarily unavailable”.

Is this how they shadhow kill off HotS? lol
