Of course it gets delayed. What if so much of the player base f’d up their sleep schedule in order to try the dragon? It’s not like we are the main focus, nor do we ever get any compensation for the delay. We just sit and wait for Blizz to at least do their job on time, as we can do nothing. Good job on the delay, Blizz. 2019 is definitely not your year after all…

I have no means to argue, but besides balance patches which usually come alive as soon as the patch hits, big updates like this do take a couple hours of maintenance, and come live only after that. I mean this was always the way so far

we already downloaded the patch previously though and they announced it to be live at this time. Not going into maintenance at this time

I, too, downloaded something I thought was the patch. (But that was probably because I was roaming between the regions, and NA already had it by then, so switching back meant to refresh to the older version that we had, and still have.) The point is, that our current patch is 2.48, and the new patch is 2.49, and we don’t have that. So there will be definitely a new download that updates to 2.49.

I had that background on the 3rd too, but background changes come with the live patch notes, not with the live patches themselves.

Im getting the live patch now, maintenance might be still on tho
