The idea for this thread was sparked by a conversation I had in a game not too long ago. It was pointed out that HotS didn’t have a very robust method in game for learning about the heroes, and there was a wealth of content that could be found outside the game, with nothing connecting the two. This thread is meant to provide links to guides and videos on the talents and abilities of each and every hero.
Some of these are the Hero Spotlights that were released prior to the hero going live, so please take those with a large grain of salt, many have been reworked, often substantially, since release. However, they give a decent overview of the main abilities and heroics. Other links are to popular streamers and YouTube guides. Again, some of these may be out of date, and most aren’t meant to be “This is how you play this hero.”, but a chance for you to see the hero in live play, and with most abilities and talents discussed. Do not take the builds shown in any of these as gospel.
I will also be putting up a scratchpad post that anyone can edit for suggestions for other videos, as well as links to posts or threads on this forum explaining talents and gameplay for any hero. I will do my best to incorporate those in the main post, and keep that cleaned out so people will always have room to add more suggestions.
