Bring Bethesda characters to HotS

Since Microsoft owns Bethesda too, they in theory could bring Skyrim/Elder Scrolls online, Fall Out and Diablo characters (among others) to HotS. Could you imagine the marketing for this? Elder Scrolls online meets WoW (main WoW characters battling main Skyrim/Elder Scrolls characters). This honestly could bring a massive amount of players coming to try out HotS, as it would bring in people from the Bethesda games into HotS.
The huge caveat would be if Microsoft invests into HotS again. But if they did a cross promotional of bringing Bethesda characters into it, fix the financial system of the game, create store only items, etc. This could be a huge win for HotS as it would save it.
I honestly would rather see some Skyrim/Elder Scrolls characters in the game over that of Over Watch. What do you all think?

Blizzard already has A LOT of characters, and bringing some unwanted guests is a bad idea (especially in a game without any kind of monetization).

Bruh :skull:

Ya we aren’t getting any characters as it is. Its been over a year since the last character. Cross promotions would bring in more players and thus bring in more revenue. If you want the game to slowly die as it is, then they could just keep the game as it is. If they did cross promotions and get players from other games into this game, then it would save it.

I can’t wait for Diablo characters to come to HotS!

I got a win/win solution. Do skins.

  • Deathwing gets an Aldruin skin.
  • Leoric gets a Dragon born skin
  • Raynor gets a master chief skin

and make them store only to generate revenue. Make it store only for a time and after revenue eventually drops for them, then eventually allow those to be unlocked in game!!

There are a lot of Blizzard characters that are still missing in the game, like Lady Vashj or Baal, I think we would have another outrage if the one hero they picked next wouldn’t be from a Blizzard game.

They arent going to do much to hots. Sad to say. Game needs too much work including a complete overhaul of the game engine.

What blizzard needs to do is a smash brothers game.

That doesn’t really matter though. Bringing in more Blizzard characters won’t attract different player bases to the game. If we want to see more players come in and returning players, they have to think outside the box. Bringing in Hogger didn’t help the game much if at all. Bringing in characters from other games, would help bring in players from those universes. Again, it would be Elder Scrolls meets WoW. That’s how they could bridge the games between each other as these characters meet in the Nexus.

It’s already undead for few years.

It won’t, because the game doesn’t have working store.

No, they don’t need it.

Of course, because the game doesn’t have any monetization. Don’t you understand it?

Nobody cares about some dead MOBA game outside this community.

No, just please don’t, there’s no need for a 10th Smash clone, seriously. This isn’t even funny anymore.

and players and developers xD

So…don’t even try to revive it with a new company coming in and fix the issues with the game.

My op comment LITERALLY said to fix the store and make store only items.

Ok, lets just give up on the game and every one leave and no one even try to fix it. I guess we all should ya know, not try to advance in life either because if you get stuck in a rut that means you won’t ever get out of that rut. Same logic you said applies.

Literally addressed this with my op comment. If they put better monetization into the game and got money generating in it from ya know, bringing in other characters from other universes and thus getting players from those universes to be able to play their favorite characters from lets say “the Elder Scrolls” and be able to play against WoW characters, that in and of itself would bring players in and thus generate revenue from a revised store with store ONLY item’s.

uhuh, and no one cared about “Age of Empires 1, 2 and 3” and what did microsoft do? They released “Definitive Editions” of those REALLY old games, put new maps and quests in it and now a ton of people are playing those games. Oh and they re-released those games when most people said “rts games are dead.”

Yet you are playing HotS which is a 10th MOBA clone.

Nice logic you have there medivh.

That gif is terrifying.

But on a topical note, cross promotion events would be a fantastic idea. And I don't just mean new skins in HoTS. The OW cross promotion event where you could only get the D.va and Genji skins in OW by playing HoTS were what got me to try this game and fall in love with it.

I think similar events with other bigger games with some really sweet skins would be a good way to bring in some fresh blood.

Oh my logic IS nice
Most mobas have something original going for them (I played 3 mobas and seen 5 and enjoy HotS and Smite the most)

Meanwhile the Smash formula is so simple that every single game is exactly the same, but looks worse. (Rivals of aether is good because it supports custom content but that’s it)

The differences in MOBAs outside of Smite because its 3d, is roughly equal to the differences in fighting games.

You seem to just be making it up to hold onto your inconsistent logic.

What you actually mean is you do not like Smash Brother games.
