the new forums are so blizz can pretend they care. anyone who cares would have spotted the abuse on the report function every game who uses it experiences the same issues and people are tired of it now hints the fall in mm quality. blizz was told about this in alpha no sh!t people are just quitting blizz already shot us the bird we are just returning it now.

overwatch and league of legends players are the ones ruining hots so we don’t care. ill be blunt and repeat it until people get it. every time you see someone complain about the game here there or at league.

all of it is as they want it all of it is quite on purpose. blizz with hots was told what would happen when they inevitably had league of legends come to hots demanding a report function what would happen to the game. they did it anyways when the 2.0 team came in.

censorship never works and is never good. it should also be noted that a lot of the mods praobly work with the eu board which you are sent to so they probably aren’t even americans at the very least they are leftests by nature.

I personally as well as my group of friends are tired of you people who are her inserting your politics regardless of the game. you shouldn’t be here for anything but the game and with how many grievers there are amongst you this only ends one way. before some retard chimes in it is the leftests doing it. they have done it in an umber of areas. for those that don’t follow politics your ignorant so just shut up already health care immigration education media gaming you name it you are ruining it due to your poltical ideology and things are becoming more dangerous. I got plenty of pop corn for the faces you people will make since its always worth its weight in gold.

I don’t particularly like the new forum because I was so used to the old one, the old one did its job well enough and first impressions of this is that its going to be harder to get used to navigating it.

navigating these forums is kind of awkward and annoying. they have this cheap feel to them i can’t quite describe.

Simple math tells me that “just flagging them” isn’t gonna get the job done.

I had to check the month to make sure this wasn’t an April fools lol, Blizzard really need to get the dislike/downvote function added soon. Right now this form is essentially useless for gauging game feedback or evaluating player suggestions. Blizz need to address it asap and reimplement downvote/dislike.

To the OP:
I agree on the reply field. I get it and it’s a convenience for short replies. If you’re Twittering around and can’t compose a complex thought or spent all your time trolling people with short, snarky replies, it’s fantastic. It doesn’t suit longer compositions.

I also agree on the dislike button. The dislike button is valuable feedback to me. The usual response is: Well, type why you disagree. I shouldn’t have to dignify trolls and clearly unproductive posts with a response. I should be able to downvote and move on. If this is perceived as toxicity, I regret to inform those who perceive it as such that people do have negative emotions and sometimes you’re the one who needs to hear you had a bad idea. The alternative we have now is that everyone gets upvotes only so we can all feel special with our participation trophies. It’s a change motivated by psychological research and I agree with the conclusions usually presented in that discussion so I don’t like it here either.

That said, I’m not quitting. I’m not uninstalling. I’m not going to cry about it, but I will voice disagreement because that is my right (and now I have to take the time to type it out)

Downvote is also counterproductive to discussion. It can create a hive mind and turn discussions into popularity contests. Player communities should not be allowed to police themselves through things like downvotes as they lack the ability to be impartial.

Upvotes ALSO create a hive mind reaction, and they also turn discussions into popularity contests. People also aren’t impartial with upvotes.

I’ve never said that they didn’t, I’ve said on other posts that upvotes should also be removed. The voting system in general is a stupid idea on any forum.
