Well, with the removal of the downvote and report option. Even the flag function only works a number of times per day. The trolls are now free to roam this place as they see fit. Let’s witness this place got turn into a cespool of toxicity.
I don’t like the reply layout, it’s too hard to see what someone is replying to.
Yeah it’s also very hard to scoop food with a spoon.

poor baby life is hard
When reddit received a new layout, I automatically switched back to the old, same I would like with the Blizzard forums.
That the dislike button is gone, is good. It was abused to troll good posts that went againt the mainstream.
With the new forums, I am mostly confused about the navigation and that I have to scroll down so much to finally be able to post (unless I write a direct reply).
It´s also running very slowly and is incredible hard to read, just like reddit.
Its not true, under right navigation bar(timeline + post count) we have arrow that open up bottom menu to post.
Im looking forward to new forums, looks much better then before and readability its just matter of time to get to it. On mobile devices its much better.
I’m more of a fox person.
I won’t ever install it until I have any other option.
The public transport is excellent in the capital city where I live. I don’t need a car.
I work at home.
Once in every 5-7 days. Everyone with long hair knows that washing it too often does more harm than good.
It’s so shiny that you need a sunglass in my presence.
As I said, I have long hair.
No.
I like the natural color of my dark blond hair.
Girl, you try it too hard!
No, you’re not. I can’t stand this forum style. I can’t even make sense of threads because of all this extra garbage that is part of this forum format. I’d at least like the old paging system back, 20 posts per page, rather than having to scroll through every single post just to get to most recent posts of a thread.
I want down-voting back so that posts that are spam or trolling actually get hidden as a result of down-voting.
If you reopen the same thread, it puts you where you left, not from the start. I also find the time line bar nearby very helpful. I definitely won’t miss the old pages/white flashes/refresh-to-see-new-posts system anytime soon.
If it makes you feel any better, this sort of disccussion spawned all across the Overwatch forums with the coming of the new forums there. It’s the future, so we adapt.
If it’s spam or trolling, report it as such using the flag system. My only complaint is how bulky it feels. There’s a lot of space between posts and inside a post. Even small posts can take up most of the web browser space.
The only 1 line response here takes up 219 pixels vertically. A 1 liner in the starcraft forums takes up 153 vertical pixels.
Did you realize that you immediately jump to the most recent posts with clicking on the bottom of the scrollbar?
How dare someone have to just scroll on if it’s a repeat thread right?
Yeah, I remember the old forums, I saw several posts that had been down voted for no obvious reason.
it won’t be much more toxic than it was before.
Hilarious goodbye rage post. I hope the removal of downvotes sends more negative people to Reddit.
What’s the limit?
… <---- these dots are added so I reach the minimum of 20 characters
People said the same thing about the WoW forums when they removed the downvote. Funny how business isn’t much different from usual over there.
that’s assuming these are the same people.
I never said there were the same people, I mean these same type of comments were made over in the WoW forums when the downvote was taken away there. Pro downvoters are quite predictable with their complaints.
Maybe it’s because I’ve had months on the OW forums to get used to it, but I don’t mind this format much anymore. I can see why there’s no downvoting–Blizz is trying to encourage actual discourse by pushing people to say “I disagree because” instead of giving no feedback to a post other than a downvote.
